The availability of appartments (2 spacious bedrooms/ bathroom/kitchinette) is an asset for the hotel. Staffmembers at the reception very very friendly and helpful. Valet service for the garage is very accurately

« Basically fitted out apartment »

A lot of space but not much in it. Very noisy during the day (9.00 am to 6.00 pm) because of work being carried out somewhere in the block. Continuous knocking while we were in in these times. Hotel did not seem to be aware it was going on.

As you have written the apartments are actually very spacious but honestly I don't understand what you mean when you say "not much in it". In all of them there are bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Concerning the noise please let me confirm you that neither the hotel nor the apartments were affected by any kind of work. As we refer to you during your stay we really were not informed or aware about any maintenance or hammering work. However, close to some apartments there are some private houses and during the daily time (09 a.m. - 06 p.m) it is possible that some small domestic work has been done. We apologize for this inconvenience which we are not responsible for. Enjoyed the stay, however air conditioning was not working in the bedroom, so did not sleep well. When we raised it with the reception, we were told that is how it works! However, subsequently were given a fan for one of the bedrooms.

Please let me point out that we have a ramp that goes up until last few steps from the entrance, I'm sorry if you had some inconvenience with them, you could and should asked for help from the hotel staff. It would have been a pleasure to help you. Concerning the executive room it is bigger than a regular standard room, the minibar, water and soft drinks, is complitely free. There is a docking station for your own music, a Nespresso coffee machine with free capsules. The bathroom has both a bathtub and a shower and is equipped with all the amenities for personal care. I really do not understand what you mean when you say "poor enlish". Everybody of the staff could speak English fluently and could have helped you with any of your needs. Software glitches in booking. The room availability shown is never correct. We were not upgraded and the room booked was not even of Executive class. The room was not ready for check in even at 14:00 hours. The late check out was not allowed although I am entitled for late check out.

I spent 3 nights at the Mercure Solari. I love the location, at a few minutes walk from Sant Agostino metro stop ( which is direct from Centrale station so super convenient when traveling by train). Quiet and safe area. Hotel is good. Staff super nice. I had booked a single room and got upgraded to a double room with comfortable king size bed so was cool. No issue of aircon and wifi was working well. I would return there for sure...

Well located property; accommodating, friendly staff; clean, well-designed accommodations. The one drawback was that wheelchair access is by means of a specialty lift which must be operated by hotel staff, some of whom had had no prior experience with the equipment.

Very pleasent one night stay in apartment. Apartment is very spacious. Bedroom is comfortable, bathroom and kitchen well equipped and modern. Living room is also modern but could be more cosy. All is all very nice and modern apartment.
