The staff were friendly and helpful; room adequate but bed mattress on one bed was poor and did not fit the bed properly so moved. Restaurant was a disappointment as the room was not open and we were limited to the bar or outside; menu extremely disappointing and limited.

« Sub Standard Hotel in every aspect except the bedroom »

Friday 05th July 19.30hrs. On arrival no staff on reception. No staff behind the Bar. Restaurant shut. Dirty chairs had to be brushed before sitting. Filthy, dust covered tables. Windows filthy. Dead flies on the inside ledges of windows. When a member of staff appeared we soon realised the this poor lad was (1) on reception (2) running the bar (3) trying to offer a distinctly poor couple of snack options (4) providing waiter service for both bar area & outside area. The location is also very poor. The breakfast is moderate at best. Ibis "style". You must be joking.

Arrived booked in rooms were ready and so clean and spacious. The bar was stocked well and the service was very good. Breakfast is continental but more than adequate and always being refreshed. Booking out was straight forward and this is why I am a member of this hotels group loyalty club.
