We were extremely happy with our stay with Mercure Bangkok Siam. The service executive was very approachable, friendly and has her service was excellent .. The hotel location was central and very accessible to all the nice shopping malls and many more.. Hotel rate was quite reasonable but the service was the best...it left a very memorable experience and i will definitely book the same when i go back again..

Staff are nice. Room is comfortable. Hotel is convenient and close to BTS. 7-11 is in the hotel on the ground floor which is super convenient for buying food and drinks and souvenirs for friends. Second time to stay here. If there are brushes and toothpaste provided will be better. And wish there can be USB port or socket next to both beds which be better.

Chose this hotel because of its proximity to the BTS and Siam Square. Very nice room. Room service was good. Did not like having to transfer elevators every time you use them. The rooftop pool is a hidden gem.

« Convenient location, but lacking the Mercure hotel class and hospitality »

The hotel was conveniently located next to the National Stadium BTS station to commute around the city, and easy walk to MBK Centre, Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery and CentralWorld. McDonalds, Tesco Lotus Jim Thompson House was 10-15 min walk away. The room was comfortable and clean but being an AccorPlus Silver member, I don't feel any special warmth or privilege given. The building itself is shared by both Ibis and Mercure. The daily breakfast for 4 mornings was lacking of choice and mundane. For the price paid, I guess better exclusive hotels could be booked elsewhere. If for no fuss rest with clean room and bed, and convenience, you could consider this.

Nothing special , Could not understand why I checked in online when priority queue was ignored and had to wait to be checked in. pool bar staff didn’t know correct specials pricing. Inconsistant rules, no smoking at rooftop open air pool removes all appeal. Maintenance of hotel fixtures is lacking, soon mercure will be below ibis standard.

« Peaceful retreat from the chaos outside ... »

Firstly the hotel was clean and peaceful . having reception on upper floor is a bit confusing however it creates a quiet environment to check in . It is the first time I have seen the Ibis and Mercure brands together in one location using combined facilities , i.e. the area for breakfast . The Staff were all polite and helpful particularly in the restaurant ... thats the good ... There is a tour desk and this was our area of disapointment and frustration .. the staff member at the desk was unhelpful unpleasant and arrogant , as we only had 3 days in Bangkok we wished to do a number of activities . The attendant at the desk had no interest at showing us what was available and did provide us with misleading information , a total unsuitable person in that position to that end we chose to go elsewhere to book and pay for activities ... That being the only issue of our short stay ,,,,,,, the bed is very comfortable !!!!!!!!

Strategically located near Shopping complex and also BTS Sky Train Serive. Stayed on 25th floors with the view of the city was fantastic. Check-in was fast and on the ground floor there is a 7/11 store for both ibis and mercure hotel guests to buy foods and drinks conveniently.

We staid a full month in the executive suite and do have a quite good understanding of the hotel now. the friendliness at Mercure Bangkok Siam is extraordinary. Starting at the Bellman Team, the Team at the Executive Lounge, the restaurant and the room maid. I liked the whole team. Big compliment. In my good experience with Hotel in Thailand this hotel offered the most authentic and friendly and perfect service I have experienced. I liked the concept of the hotel (close to Skytrain and MBK, Pool, Restaurant, 7-Eleven) The suite was very nice. I do have a few recommendations for improvement for the room facility. Hope there is space afterwards. We enjoyed our stay and will be happy to come again. Where we see room of improvement: It would be nice to have a plug socket on both sides of the bed Doors: In the suite the door from the living room to bed room in combination with the wardrobe doors is very disturbing. You need to open them in the right order or you cannot pass through anymore. Maybe sliding doors could mitigate that. Furthermore, when opening the wardrobe door the room light is behind the door and inside the wardrobe it is absolutely dark. Please install at least a light in the wardrobe. The bathroom door, when not closed opened in a 45 degrees angle. Even moving a bit it went back to 45 degrees. As the washbasin is so close to the door it was not possible to brush your teeth with open door as you always have the door in the back. Would be good if possible, to adjust the door in every angel desired. The pool: Everything nice expect the list for towels. How can it be in times of GDPR that a list lays open with room numbers and names? When I enter my name and room number someone else knows who I am and that my room is unattended for the time I am at the pool. For me a clear high security risk. I used the pool maybe 6-7 times or so and at the end just did not enter my name in the list anymore. No one cared anyway if I did it. Elevator Maybe a very small and tiny thing. The slot for the room card in some elevators was hard to hit and sometimes I had to try to insert the card 2 or 3 times Sounds trivial but isn’t It happened 2 times that I couldn’t enter the card fast enough and the door closes too fast. So instead of going from the 23rd to the 25th floor I went 23-9-8-9-21-22-24-25 great PS: Would be happy to find 50 inch TVs in the suites in the future maybe with facility to connect Apple devices. The audio device was for Apple 4 devices. Sorry, totally outdated

Overall is good. But if they could be More flexible, it will be better. I booked 1st Night and paid for breakfast. 2nd night I booked through my foc complimentary night without breakfast. When I arrived at the reception counter. I requested to push the breakfast to 2nd night, but the receptionist say cannot. I thought it is rather inflexible system..

« Just an average room although staff were all grat to deal with. »

Felt the rooms badly lacked storage space. We were there for 6 nights & no drawers to put anything away in. One shelf in wardrobe & bathroom is hardly sufficient in a hotel of this standard. Pool area was ok but one umbrella for the whole area was a huge disappointment. Breakfasts, staff & room cleaning were all good.

On this visit we took advantage of booking one of your executive rooms and was very happy we did as it was more room to spread out. Only criticism is that the shower cubicle had some mold in the grout. Overall, rooms were clean and location was fantastic

Extremely well located, stunning views and excellent pool and gym facilities. The staff were helpful and polite, and the room was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was intermittent wifi service, mostly later at night. This was not a major issue and didn't impact negatively on my stay, more just a minor nuisance. This has been my second time staying here and both have been absolutely wonderful stays and I'll happily be back.
