Our first room looked decent however at bedtime it was discovered that the bottom bed sheet in our bed (3 beds in the family room) were fused to the mattress in the corner by an unknown substance. We were assigned a new room, however this time our room was considerably smaller and the quilt was dirty. Completely dissatisfied with our stay, even so that I couldn’t use the bathroom there and had to shower at our hosts house whom we were visiting.

I usually love staying at this hotel but was disappointed with my recent stay. Throughout the evening and morning we could smell cigarette smoke on a number of occasions within the room. It was the hottest day of the year and so we had the air con on and windows closed. When we went to leave we discovered why this was the case, staff at the hotel were smoking next to the air conditioning outside vents. Such a shame that this really ruined our stay. Usually love staying at this hotel and so felt disappointed.

The hotel enrolled me into some loyalty programme despite clear, emphatic and repeated requests NOT to do so. The call to Head Office afterwards seems to have resolved it quickly which is reassuring but the sour taste of the data misuse at the hotel lingers

Very family friendly and all in all great accomodation. The family room was very clean, spacious and modern. The breakfast room looked very colourful and the breakfast itself had lots to choose from.
