« A good experience all round! »

The room was spacious and clean. The continental breakfast was good and the tables were clean and the room was bright and airy.. The reception staff were very helpful as someone in a nearby room had been smoking and quickly relocated me in another room. All in all a good experience.

We stayed for 1 night as we were helping family to move into the area and needed somewhere to stay for the night. Clean comfortable room, good shower, comfy bed. Good continental breakfast with plenty of choice, would stay again.

Having stayed and comp!eted the survey a month earlier, it seemed pointless to complete it again, but here goes since you insist. Check-in was like-minded, the gentleman being puzzled before taking my payment - only to inform me much later as I was eating that payment had been taken twice and the second one would be refunded when I returned to reception. I did and it was - I trust. That apart everything was fine, as expected.

Arrived at 5:30pm after a long journey on numerous trains. The gentleman on reception kindly upgraded me to a double room. The room was newly refurbished with new carpets and very clean and tidy. Had a comfortable stay with a good nights sleep. Was also given a late checkout as i wasn't due to be picked up until 1pm. For £38 including breakfast, the cleanliness of the room and customer service i give this hotel 10/10.

The breakfast seems fairly unusual in my opinion. I have never had ham, cheese, tomato and cucumber for breakfast. I would normally have bacon, sausage, egg etc. Or porridge. There is no hot food except for toast. I can see the practicalities of serving cold food. No waste, no cook required. But it was free so one shouldn't complain

Initially it didn't start well. I did not like my room, I complained and immediately Mr. Khan solved all the issues I raised and ensured I had a comfortable stay, many thanks to him. Ground floor room at the front of the hotel facing bus stop and busy road and car park but no net curtains? Also windows locked open a little. Requested closure because of noise but no-one arrived with key required to close it. Cheap and nasty bread at breakfast.

The room was clean but too small to even open the suitcase anywhere. The staff upon chekout were helpful but check in was a terrible experience - rude staff who could not explain any of the procedures around payment - and their mistakes cost me more bank charges. I do not think this is fair. I also do not understand why I have to pay but CANNOT (according to staff- Sebastian) receive an invoice. Payment without receipt is not common.

My rooms keys always had to be rebooted as their was a fulit with them. When I was ordering food I had to wait a few minutes as the lady was on her phone and other people were waiting as well.
