« Good Hotel, Good Location, But Definitely Not A 5 Star »

The hotel is very conveniently and strategically located just across the beach street. The ambiance is good. The staff are very courteous and helpful. There is a Departmental store on the hotel outside portion. McDonalds and Pizza Hut are in walking distance. Once can even walk it to Leigan Street from the Hotel. But I feel the hotel is slowly starting to show signs of wear and tear, they need to pull up their socks and go in for revamping.

« A good hotel in the heart of Kuta Beach »

I have stayed away from Kuta for many years due to its reputation for loud night life and crowds but decided to take a plunge this trip so that I could easily do some surfing. I was pleasantly surprised by the Kuta Beach Heritage Hotel. Yes there are crowds outside but the hotel was very pleasant and had all of the usual amenities. Breakfast was very good, particularly the bubur ayam, and the roof top pool and bar area is a great place to enjoy the sunset and just relax. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to spend time in Kuta Beach.

We had a pleasant experience overall. All our "hotel requirement" - king bed, bath tub, a good square footage, good location - were met at a reasonable price. And of course, the open beach view right in front of our balcony was a great bonus!

Swimming pool is cool, taking breakfast at roof is wonderful. Staff in hotel is warm and with great smile. However, water pressure in room is low, I think it is hard for female to wash hair.

Shocking, couldn't order room service, room was meant to have a balcony but instead we just had a view of some random hall and the reception and the food from the restaurant upstairs was like school dinners. Paided extra for a room that was meant to be bigger with a balcony but instead we got a room with structural cracks and lights and plumbing that didn't work. (I work in building maintenance and my girl friend has worked in hotels for years including accor hotels.) I also used the hotel to book a transfer to the airport to leave I double checked the night before we left they said all good and have me a wake up call but they then couldn't find the taxi and the receptionist friend ended up giving us a lift.

The overall experience was bad, we got to the room to receive a set of dirty towels including what looked like pubic hair, the room smelled really bad, a very strange odor like humidity combined with something else that seems to come from the shower... one day the water was cut off for some strange reason and because of that we left the sink water open and the room flooded and some of our luggage got wet... really bad experience to be honest.

This is my second visit to the hotel, I like the location and the room although the ambience is more to city hotel. Breakfast is superb especially the bulgur ayam with complete condiments. Unfortunately, I definetly sure I have left my face soap in the shower cabin upon departure and I just realize when I checked-in in the HardRock Hotel, I went back to check but the staff was telling there's no lost and found for that. It wasn't about the value of the face soap, but when you travelling away from home and that the essential amenities you have the value is beyond.

Facility and cleanliness is fine but the room needs improvements, the bathroom get unpleasant smell from the drainage, the hot water is not hot enough, the shower water pressure is very low and the toilet is clogged so the water cannot be flushed.
