« Nice n beautiful but some pain, too! »

We enjoyed staying with you. The front desk was most helpful and both the location n breakfast were superb. However, the room air conditioner and the fridge didn't work to our satisfaction. Despite bringing it to notice of hotel, nothing was done. One more thing, the toilet doesn't have an exhaust fan for removing foul air.

Dear Madam/Sir, Although I am a non-smoker man and I have informed reception about this issue, Smoking Guest Room had given for me. Whole night I have smelled that very heavy smoke smell. When I informed this issue next morning, they just told me to crate a complaint letter to administration.

Simple hotel, quite in line with Ibis standards. Friendly staff, though only some of them speak English. Close to the main train station if you want to take the metro to city centre or the Izban from/to the airport.

Hello there, This is second visit İbis İzmir Alsancak Hotel. Location is perfect! Staff is awesome! I just want you to improve two things. One of them is bathtub condition. There is no holder in case of slipping during bathing. This is really urgent for me and also there is no phone in case of any emergency in bathroom. Second one is Non-smoke/Smoking rooms can be selected during the reservation process at Accorhotels.com. Lack of this selection, we have stayed in smoking room in despite of being non-smoker for a day. Thank you for your attention Regards, Sinan.

This is my second time in IBIS Izmir. I have stayed in IBIS hotels many times in different countries, i.e. Paris, Rome, etc before. I can say this is definitely the best IBIS I have ever stayed! Room was not so small; it was clean and bathroom and shower was very large compared with other IBIS hotels. We had to stay a bit longer for check-in although we have already had online check-in (this is because of security regulations in Turkey). The hotel manager realized we were not happy because of waiting for long time; then he offered us espresso as complementary. It was really kind and made us forgot about check-in problem.

« For the first time I need to check out with Google Translate »

Travelling all around the world, I have to notify that for the first time in more than 30 years of business trips, I had to check-out with Google Translate, as nobody at the reception was able to speak English. I think this is very strange. On the other side, the employee at the check-out showed comprehension for the situation, and tried to help in any way it was possible. So it is not a complain on the personnel. But it is anyway a remarkable situation I faced.

The one thing i would like to mention is, i needed to reset my room card almost everyday because it couldn't stay solid for whole week. Maybe you can use more stable room cards.
