Either you have less people and more work, or the people are not efficient to deliver basic level of services. 20th Sept, issues with Transport, i had asked for a drop to airport, but i was clubbed with another guest and asked to leave early, which i was not ready as i still had work to finish, i called hotel and i was promised another cab, however that cab cam only at 6 :15 or 6:30 (don't remember exactly), had to rush for everything at Airport. 4th Oct: i asked for "Alu Paratha" while heaving breakfast, had to ask 2 different people, waited for 30 mins, but i did not get it, HENCE LEFT, this is how you treat your guests.... Earlier (somewhere in August), i had asked for my bedsheet to be changed, but as expected, just the sides were changed on that bedsheet but, it was not changed..... I seriously feel you need to improve a lot. If its too much of work with less people, change the management, you will get results.... or if its less work and still people are not able to deliver, change people, as they are not doing their basic job. I have requested couple of times to Vodafone management to change the hotel, but not sure why they keep booking me in your " Lodge".

Very poor service both housekeeping as well as restaurant staff. For same thing you have to call multiple times then you might finally get it if you are lucky. I had pre-booked one extra bed and 2nd night I didn't get extra bed. Upon several follow-ups(till mid night) and calls finally Manager turned up. He told that all bed are occupied despite the fact that it was pre-booked and hotel staff has assured previously for the same. Manager is very careless and his response on this issue was very pathetic. Basically they are bunch of idiots Due to this we were not able to sleep whole night. In restaurant same condition during breakfast. If you order something and wait for 30mnts, you will not get and finally you have to tell them multiple times to get even a glass of water. Overall horrible experience and will never stay in this hotel again even if this is last available hotel in Ahmedabad. I also scolded makemytrip customer care for recommending such hotel in their website.

The stay was for the 2 nights. Starting with the checkin time no one was there to ask me take my luggage to my room, i had to carry my luggage. Secondly i had to ask for extra pillow as thier were only 2 pillow available in my room which usually i didn't saw in other 4/5stars hotels. Thirdly their was no tooth kit available in my washroom, no napkins and mainly most shocking i felt when i asked for the towel i got the reply that their is no extra towel available as the that day their was full occupancy, is this how novotel hotel works!? Novotel hotel can't provide towel to the guest when they need and had to wait for 20-30mins even after paying payment in advance, it sounds soo funny. Another day their was no shower gel and shampoo changed even after i had ask them to clean my room. I had called for the food and i feel soo shameful to say that after paying soo much money the food was as cold as my room temperature but i ignored to not to argue coz it was 2:30am and was tired. Towel were also not well clean it was with some yellow yellow spot everywhere. During checkout time on the hotel reception nobody was interested to even ask me about my experience with the stay. It was really very bad experience with the novotel Ahmedabad hotel, probably it was first and last stay with novotel group hotel.

Asked for a non- smoking room; room allotted had been used by a smoker but an effort appeared to have been made to de-odorise the room. The blemish was that despite clearly indicating dual occupancy, all necessities - towels, etc., - were set up for single occupancy.

It was a pleasure staying at Novotel, Ahmedabad. The check-in was smooth and courteous. We were upgraded to the executive floor, which gave a number of additional amenities. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a modern bath. Housekeeping & room service was pro-active and very good. Overall a great experience.

Starting from check-in which took too long and going to multiple people, dinner plate not cleared even after 1 hour of request to clear (people sleep), multiple calls to sort out internet issue (will call back sir after checking the problem has no meaning for front desk), ...service leaves a gaping hole in my stay experience.
