Unfortunately this hotel did not inspire. The rooms are not air-conditioned, although fans are supplied. Not allowed to open the windows fully, due to health and safety. The hot water failed on Sunday morning. The receptionist could confirm resolution, because unable to get hold of the manager or maintenance. No compensation offered, but others were. The internet failed too and the Sunday morning. The bar staff and the party staff were good. Overall disappointed.

Hotel in need of a refurbishment, trouser press fell to bits and washbasin was badly cracked. Bedroom window had dropped and required lifting to shut it. this may sound negative but the staff and food were every good but hampered by lack maintenance of the building.

I really like this hotel, some of the furniture is looking a bit dated but the service and helpfulness of the staff is excellent along with great food for breakfast and dinner, I’ve stayed before and the restaurant is looking much better plus good to see new furniture in the courtyard and outside areas

« Some food was most disappointing but, otherwise, the hotel was fine and the staff helpful and friendly. »

Our room was fine: it was clean and well-serviced (and very similar to a Premier Inn room except for the lack of biscuits). The buffet breakfasts were very good. The food served for dinner varied from a most enjoyable "salmon with potatoes and vegetables" down to a very disappointing "butternut squash and spinach curry". The white and rose house wines were, in our opinion, almost undrinkable. At £161 for DBB for two persons for one night, we felt that, overall, our experience was not good value for money.

Hated it. 2 staff couldn’t direct me to my room, sending me in wrong direction. Room tired and unwelcoming. If there was any viable local alternative it would have my future business. Best part - breakfast. I rate as 2 star at best.

We visited hotel 2 adults, 2 children for family wedding being held at hotel. Hotel classed as 4-star but I would say 3. Staff lovely and can’t do enough to help but rooms very dated. Our room was ridiculously hot and not enough ventilation.

Upon arrival, nicely greeted. Our first room smelt of cigarettes and even saw a few at the window when it’s meant to be a none smoking room. Our next room was great but the hotel only provide a hotel fan and it was 30 deg that weekend! Room got very hot. Restaurant food could be a lot better. We had food included but ended up eating out once. Was quite bland. Great parking, great pool and steam and fast access to local shopping centre.

Greeted well at reception although no offer of free drinks or upgrade as is often the case with Accor hotel silver status. Hotel generally looks tired and not well cared for eg. Cobwebs at top of wall and ceiling bedroom and also entrance areas. Thin poor quality towels in need of replacement and not totally clean. Bedroom window design nearly knocked me out as hinged at bottom but poor single plastic strip supposed to hold it in place really poorly designed. Breakfast selection ok but mix of good & less engaging staff. On leaving staff tried to bill me for room which was fully paid for with points and card payment.

Your staff were very friendly and helpful however our room (109) was over tired and disappointing with stains on the ceiling, peeling wallpaper, damaged furniture, damaged vanity unit in the bathroom, rusty fixings over the bath and frayed towels. If the trip had been anything other than a friends wedding we would not have stayed.
