Great loation. no service at all. You can hear clubbing music very clearly in the room and the house is shaking like hell. You can’t contact with any staff About either service or problem reporting.

Hotel is well located with good parking. All in all with the offer they gave me good value. The room was small but serviceable, although a little tired. Public areas were very nice. I was disappointed that I was not recognised as part of the loyalty programme.

Have sent a separate email about the issues we encountered with the rooms. We were moved from the first room because the toilet didn't flush properly and the phone didn't work. The second room was better but the shower pressure very poor!!!

Quick check in, although didn't ask if I wanted to set a card up to enable drinks to be charged to my room. Good service at the bar and in the morning at breakfast. I had a quiet room away from the main street so had an undisturbed night's sleep. Good buffet lunch for our event.

Everyone was lovely to us, I just think the building is old and needs money spending on it, little things like old leaky draughty windows, dusk and condensation on the window sills, shower head broken, gutters over running is rain which you could hear cascading down walls.

Check in experience was good. But the room looked dilapidated. The carpets don’t seem to have been changed since the 1970s, the bath/shower was grimy, and the less said about the sofa the better! I’ve seen furniture in student common rooms that was cleaner.

The room was not prepared after the previous guest. I was told I would be moved to a larger room, as a goodwill gesture, but the new room was actually smaller and poorly designed - it had only a 5inch (approx) gap between the bed’s end the wall. Access to the bathroom was very difficult.

1. a plus for having the large parking lot 2. the hotel does not look as good as other Mercure hotels I stayed at. has quite an old look and feel and the bathroom curtains did not seem very clean 3.
