Don't like your poor provision for hanging clothes - it requires a wardrobe facility. Breakfast ok but the food at supper was extremely poor. The batter on my fish was still wet inside, the 'fries' which were cheap chips and not fries, were not completely cooked and I did not eat. My husbands chunky chips were undercooked and soggy. Fish badly cooked. He returned his and his chips were replaced with the same chips 'fries' as mine and again undercooked! We complained and our meals were not charged. Even the most basic pub can serve crisp chips and fries!

It was very bad experience as I moved my stay firm holiday inn to Mercure thinking that I am gold so I will be treated differently. During my stay I eat once in restaurant because always I was refused to get in maybe due to my face. The once because I spoke with reception who help to get in restaurante. The price payed by night was higher than holiday inn even if the room was smaller. By the way it was the worse experience with This experience so I will never turn back there and I will never recommend it to my colleagues.

The staff were friendly. The room was clean with adequate facilities. litter could be seen outside from the bedroom window. Breakfast was good with a lovely view out over the gardens except for an ashtray overflowing with cigarette ends in full view! The evening meal was disappointing however. We ordered a starter of tortilla chips with various dips and this was good. The main course was shown on the menu as Tex Mex chilli beef with rice and tortillas but arrived with yet more tortilla chips but no tortillas!! We felt that it could be warmer and with more flavour. We were looking to using the swimming pool but found the facilities to be disappointing and in need of refurbishment. There was a problem with some brown 'stones' !! floating in the pool which was most off-putting

Very difficult for wheelchair users to get into rooms due to narrow doorways. After asking for a room with a wider doorway I was informed they were all the same although I disagreed, I was moved to another room were the door opened a fraction wider. Room OK but not great,but breakfast worth every penny

Very good from start to finish. Friendly accommodating staff. Clean room, nice and quiet. Decent breakfast in the morning then a very professional check out considering we had an issue (my issue, not the hotels). Made me feel very comfortable. would 100% stay again.

Reception and bar area, furnished to a high standard.then we walked to our room and the carpet was worn, room was far too warm (surely the heating should be off if hot outside?), furniture marked, room was clean but not to a standard we expected

We found the rooms very difficult to enter with a wheel chair, very narrow doorways.Not disabled friendly. Paula on reception very good and breakfast extremely good would recommend the Hotel but not for the disabled.

I was very disappointed with my stay due to lack of basic requirements in the room, i.e no air con, no mini fridge, no wardrobe. Being 32weeks pregnant I came for a relaxing stay instead I was extremely hot and had to ask for two fans to be put in the room. Also the pool facilities were dirty. We had dinner included in our stay and the food was awful very greasy. Highly disappointed overall.

Stayed 2 nights. Arrival not welcoming initially, but thanks to Paula who took over our check in. The room was ok on the ground floor but looking out of our window there was cigarette buts, plastic jars and litter on the ground. Second day after our room was serviced, we noticed our twin beds only had duvet shook. Our pillows were not shook and the bottom sheets on both beds had not been touched. Also, only 1 towel left so we had to ask reception for a second towel.

There are notices int eh rooms informing guests of this fact. I am sorry if you bed was not changed and this was not to your liking. The bed linen is changed on a three day cycle for stay over guest. Outdated decor, boiling hot rooms and awful food at hotel bar/restaurant for vegans and at an extortionate price too! Not particularly clean- crisp packets and rubbish outside window on their ‘landscaped gardens’. I even found somebodies knickers down the radiator in our bathroom! Lovely having access to a pool. Felt quite like a leisure centre pool so maybe don’t market it as like a spa retreat.... Needs an all over refurbishment!

We do offer spa facilities as we have beauty treatments available from Secret sanctuary who have facilities in the hotel and these treatments can be booked in advance of the stay. We offer spa breaks through treat well and these include packages which have this option available and can be pre-booked. Our feel good health club provides leisure facilities with a top of the range equipment gym, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi with swimming pool. I will check out the wording on booking .com to ensure this is not misleading in any way.
