Room looks good but there was a sock from previous guest. Bath tub still has a bunch of hair. Swimming pool is out of use. The location of the hotel is good.

A very relaxing stay. It was our first stay in a hotel with our dog, which we were apprehensive about, but the staff at the hotel were very help and accommodating from start to finish, we were all made to feel very welcome. The room was plenty big enough for us all and there was loads of out door space to walk the dog.

I went with very low expectations but was pleasantly surprised with the size, décor and cleanliness of the room and reception, the customer service as well as the breakfast. Only one downside was that the night I stayed was a hot day and by the time I went to the Reception to ask for a fan for my room, they had run out so had to try and sleep in a very warm room.

The location was quite good for Swansea and the Gower Coast. We had a good evening meal the 1st night, but the 2nd night was not up to expectation. It was Battered Cod & Chips, a simple meal. However, i expect the batter to be crisp, but it was quite soft and spoilt my enjoyment of the meal, and hence I left about half of it. I had booked two nights on a deal, and asked to stay a 3rd night, but was told i had to pay the full price or book another 2 nights based on the deal. I declined, which meant that the hotel lost about a £100. The rooms were of a good standard and clean, and the bar area enjoyable, although it felt a little like a business type hotel.

« A LOVELY STAY »

We stayed for four nights in a family room. The price of the hotel was great, I joined the Accor Hotels club, which is free to sign up to and saved us a little bit extra too. Our room was great, a large double bed and what seemed to be a slide out single for our son, which were very comfy, we all slept so well. The room had the addition of a sofa and coffee table which was a very welcome addition and the size of the room was a very good size. We were initially attracted to this hotel because of the pool, which we visited every day, there is also a small gym area and I believe a sauna. The hotel is located in more of a commercial area, but still seems to have quite a bit of greenery around with a lovely expanse of water situated not far away and close to shops. The hotel also has the additional bonus of having free parking! The only negative I found, was that the food in my opinion was a bit expensive, for example the breakfast was £15.00 each, which for a family was too expensive for us, but we found a Wetherspoons, which was around a 7 minute drive away and a Greggs being a 3 minute drive! So unfortunately we didn't make use of the restaurant, which was a shame. Other than that we had a great break, the staff were all very friendly and helpful including the cleaners, and we look forward to our next stay.

lovely hotel, pleasant staff. Unfortunately we were allocated what seemed to be the noisiest room in the hotel, above the service entrance and above the main entrance. Woken several times through the night by arrivals / departures. Woken early every morning by hotel deliveries, laundry services immediately below our room.

We just needed a room enroute to visit relatives. The room was comfortable and reasonably spacious. The bathroom and bedroom were both clean and tidy, if a little in need of a refurbishment or redecoration. We had a good evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast the next day. Parking was plentiful and free. There was not a lift to the upper floors, which might be a problem for some people.
