Despite reading some negative reviews, we stayed at the Fairfield Manor for one night after a family "do". The room was huge with loads of space. Sadly breakfast wasn't such a pleasant experience, the food was ok (but very limited in variety), the dining room was what I can only describe as chaotic.

The Tesco's at Clifton moor does have electric charge points as well so if you do choose to stay again you can charge your car here. We stayed one night in a twin room it was lovely even though we were on the ground floor it was very quiet room was excellent have recommended the hotel to family and friends and would defiantly stay again, staff on arriving were friendly and welcoming had a lovely experience .

The stay was pleasant and relaxing and more than for filled our needs. The only downside was the cleaning staff don’t seem to leave enough toiletries ie toilet paper. I think it’s a little embarrassing having to ring reception for more.

Very pleasant stay hotel ideally suited for park and ride into York Centre. Had evening meal on first night which was very enjoyable waiting staff pleasant, however found the continental side of the breakfast a little disappointing not much variety. Room was uncomfortably hot at night.

Warm welcome by Lauren (I think that was her name), lovely room, comfortable bed, room service for breakfast, complimentary drinks from the bar for my birthday, nothing was too much trouble, had a lovely relaxing stay, lovely food. Just one thing, the breakfast tray was still outside our room on the evening time along with empty bottles and glasses from the bar, mentioned it to the chap on the reception who kindly removed them.
