Not good place for family,seemed to be a lot of workmen/ women. Room we had was awful, pictures provided.Staff didn’t seem motivated except for the cleaning staff in the morning who were lovely and cheerful.

Stayed at hotel as I was posted to HMP prison hotel was clean restaurant was nice staff all friendly the only down side was when I sat down for my evening meal the seat I was sitting in decided to fall apart leaving me highly embarrassed laying on the floor !! Restaurant staff came immediately over and asked if I was ok !then the manager came over and i completed a accident questioner no injuries accused just my pride for the rest of the night but I must highlight the situation was handled very well by staff

Staff were great but room was a disappointment, although clean, it was tired, dated and carpet was a bit threadbare. I paid more for the hotel compared to Premier Inn or Travelodge as I though it would be nicer but if I'm ever back in the area I'll go to a different hotel.

room was clean tidy - could have been warmer but colder months these things are expected. Monday morning breakfast was shocking - food was cold , no one there to complain to. I waited 10 minutes to be welcomed to breakfast. I seen fresh food come from the kitchen helped myself and it was cold. Tuesday morning was a different story, very helpful female member of staff she even informed me that if there was anything i needed from the kitchen this could be made, which i was not told on the Monday morning. food was warm and a lot nicer than Monday's food. used the gym - extremely hot room, but very basic.

Hotel is good Reception excellent. I have a noticeable mobility disability. On attending the breakfast area a waiter shouted at me from 10 metres away in the raised area to sit up there. I asked to sit in the lower area near the food but he made up a table in the bar area near the wall tv and said to sit there. I told him I couldn't walk and he became rather verbal about me. I didn't engage in argument but sat at one of the ten empty tables next to the server. My disability is embarrassing enough without it getting broad cast throughout the dining area.

Very disappointed with. Family room. Window was secured with a screw which seemed a hazard to anyone. Lots of mould in the room. Ventilation very poor and . Room and bath need refreshing. Staff did not seem enthusiastic except for the cleaning staff who were always smiling and greeted us every time. Had asked staff if they could change one of the screens to a different programme but said because most people were watching Celtic play he couldn’t. Even though the side we were sitting it was only my family.

The hotel is very tired and dated. Breakfast certainly was not worth the extra money paid, no scrambled eggs offered and the toaster barely worked. The staff however were extremely friendly and helpful

Good overnight break but hotel in need of some upgrades. Had a problem trying to get the heating in room on, managed to sort it but kept cutting off. Could maybe do with more choices on menu for dinner. Buffet breakfast was really good tho with plenty of choice.
