I think the hotel was unerstaffed at times a lot of the staff didnt have a sense of houmour or communication skills especially a young man on the desk early in the morning who never spoke a word so I dont know if he could speak, The hotel was fine just the same as when I stayed there 10 years ago. We didnt eat in the hotel so cant say what the service was like. My husband wanted to say the fan in the bathroom didnt work & he found the noise loud as we were near the car parl.

Check in fine. Room was ok if a little dated. Good flat screen TV. Breakfast a bit hit or miss. Fruit juice jug empty , cooked breakfast items not as hot as they should have been.

« A very disappointing stay in your Hotel »

-The receptionist was friendly, but it was a big mess in the office behind her -In the breakfast room too many noise from the old refrigerator. -The servants were too busy in the breakfast room for to fill the empty plates with croissants and fruit - The whole hotel is old fashioned and far below the standard of the Mercure division of the Accord Group. Sorry for this negative evaluation, but I hope that you find here elements for improving.

Impressed by hotel lobby and entrance, and general atmosphere of hotel. Was not given info regarding breakfast in check-in, had to ask for this info later. Room upgrade didn't not meet expectation and did not represent value for money. Arriving for breakfast, little for was available for a substantial time, staff were not forthcoming with info or simple interactions to let guest know food was coming out soon or that they knew there was a delay. Informed of additional charges at check-out related to room costs - this info would've been known at check-in. All booking/additional payment was conducted through central reservation telephone number.

Staff very helpful and friendly, especially given the heat. Room OK but bathroom could use a upgrade - shower had little water pressure, shabby fittings/tiles. Other than that (and no AC - but it's Scotland!), stay was fine.

It's clear that this hotel is in need of investment. Rooms could do with modernising and redecorating, more plug sockets adding, and the shower actually getting some power behind it. More staff also needed at breakfast as we had to get our own pays and cutlery both mornings. The "takeaway" pizza menu was over priced compared to Dominoes down the road, and the bar made us a terrible hot chocolate. Main positive was that parking was free

Well placed in city of Perth with adjacent parking facilities. Standard room small but comfortable. Error made in other party given same room as us. German guests were rather embarrassed when we arrived to open No. 10 as they had also been given same room. This should clearly not have happened. A genuine human mistake as other guests should have been given room No. 110. Quickly sorted by member of staff but computer software should not have allowed this. Good evening menu with "V" & "G F" available.

A cute squeaky mill conversion, unfortunately not taking full account of the eco potential of the mill water. and the brand sign could be better in tune with the building. Staff very attentive and helpful in planning excursions. Bar somewhat limit in craft beer choice and the ugly grey beam trust in the breakfast could do with painting in old black.

Good location for city centre. Reception/bar area and restaurant very pleasant. Breakfast surprisingly good. Limited menu in restaurant; food is acceptable. Staff very helpful. However, rooms are tired and need refurbishment.
