Initially could not find the car park. Was told our room had been upgraded to a Privilege one and it would be quieter, but I do not know in what way as the room (103) was on the first floor facing Church Street and almost opposite 2 music pubs/bars. I don't know about Privilege as there was no sofa like your website picture; it was just poky. This was a particular problem on Saturday night. Room very cramped and I felt this was poor for £150+ per night. Windows were NON opening as locked. To call the desk a business desk is strange - you could not work on it/at it. No complimentary newspaper and only one robe/slippers between 2 of us. Car parking issue should be highlighted on the website as it is incredibly inconvenient if you return to the hotel and find that there are no spaces. A lot of spaces are privately rented and the car park is available to non-residents. This really needs sorting out. Early checkin and late checkout times are useful. Not the hotel's fault but after the first poor night's sleep, the following morning at 6.30am the smoke alarms went off as someone was smoking in their room. Room was very warm so we needed the a/c on constantly.

food in the restaurant took ages to arrive and staff was unprepared and not bothered by customers being there and waiting. not enough plugs in the room and scarce light in the room. room was very noisy ang I got woken up multiple times at 4.30/5 am by the garbage truck. also disturbed by the karaoke from the pub until late at night. not worth the price that is asked for the room

The staff were excellent. We were originally allocated a room that was completely unsatisfactory and they changed it willingly and cheerfully. The rooms do not have fridges which should be standard. Fresh milk for tea and coffee went off during our stay as did cheese and fruit salad. The parking lot has small spaces and we had difficulty unpacking bags from the back seat with cars on either side. £12 seems excessive for 2 nights parking.

Total confusion over the price I was quoted for an upgrade room from reservations. After checking out and asked if I had anything to pay, I was told twice that my account was clear and closed so I was dismayed to receive an e mail next day saying I owed £43.

It's OK. Very unhappy with the WiFi connectivity which is pathetic. Also I got my stay extended for 5 more days with the same booking however this time the complimentary breakfast was not included. When checked with my Travel & Accommodation team they informed it was same booking they have done but the Hotel staff says the booking was done with no complimentary breakfast. Would have appreciated if the same package has been carry forwarded as i was at staying for almost 4 weeks.

This property should not be part of the Accor group. Approaching the property it looks like a run down block of flats from the sixties and the entrance was terrible. The bathrooms were tiny, sinks no more than 35cm wide and stuck right next to the wc. The breakfast was the worse ever in the most miserable and outdated room. The ONLY thing positive about the property is that the people working there were so kind and helpful. I checked out after one night.

I stay regularly at this hotel for work. The hotel is well located in the centre of Inverness, however parking can be awkward. The car park is small and a large number of places are reserved. The staff, the rooms and the restaurant are great and the menu is varied. The gym is quite small and a little old, but a good facility to have.

We travelled by train and the hotel was only a five minute walk from the station. The car park always had spaces too. Our room had been nicely refurbished in Scottish-style fabrics and pictures, though we found it rather minimalist, with no drawers, and not much to hang towels on to dry in the bathroom. Our river view was pleasant. The only way to regulate the heating was by opening the window, which let in the noise from passing revellers and woke me during the night. WiFi generally ok though was off one morning at 7 am. Reception was not manned several times, and waiters had to be asked to help out. Chef was not very evident at breakfast either. We had a bar supper one evening which was good. Staff were all very pleasant. Overall we enjoyed our stay and had no major complaints, just these niggles!

I thought for a four star hotel the the rooms were basic. We were upgraded on our last night and I felt the room we were given was no better other than it was slightly larger and had a sofa . For me the rooms lack comfort. The staff were helpful and pleasant. We had breakfast which was good.
