« It was a short nice stay. »

The staff were friendly. I had no problems with the check-in and check-out processes key card, amenities, breakfast. I got long pillows which are very Indonesian-tailored way of sleeping. What I don't quite like is the bathroom because i felt cramped over there. I think that is typically Ibis Hotel. But the room is clean. Overall, it was nice.

Everything went well. Front Office was polite, efficient and helpful. They were able to offer me early checkin, and for my follow-on reservation, handled a change of room in 15 minutes. Mr Ares asked me for feed back and I said 10/10. He insisted on helping me checkin for my flight which he did successfully despite the airline’s notorious IT system.

« Good location but bad in Pets Control »

best location hotel but bad in Pets Control as a TripAdvisor Contributor im already write it in my account, 1st when im check in i saw small ant but in the morning when i wake up i saw many much more than 100 small ant so im complain to the front desk and change the room but after that i get horor experience in 3 AM there a knock my door 3 times but no body when im open the door and i dont hear the walking people i think when next im staying in this hotel i never staying again in 7th floor

at the receptionist she is very friendly , and then at the room the floor in the room i think its need to be fixed and please upgrade the wifi speed, accor its big name but its bad wifi signal everywhere i stay even in Manado, so i give 7 on my last trip in ibis city center Makassar.

« Good hotel but had Small Incident during checkout »

I booked 4 night at Ibis Makassar for my Dad (30 March - 4th April). Everything is okay except on the last day when he checked out got small incident as the officer thought we have not paid the hotel and was refuse to let my dad go. My dad actually has handed over the proof of payment when he arrived on the hotel and that paper was kept by one of the officer and not returning it back. By the end of the stay, maybe the other guy who handled the check out didn't realize. But what keep me thinking is why the Hotel does now know if the bill been paid or not? I pay through Accor website as I'm one of the member.

The food is good, I like the fried rice with dried fish, the fruits were fresh, and the other was good. But the lemon tea I ordered was too sour, and es pisang ijo came with small banana slices and the green stuff tasted like flour. Overall I enjoy stayed here, and hope they will improve the service in future. And one more thing, there was no concierge in the front of the hotel. I had some hard time bringing the stuff.
