« Great staff in the reception »

The girls in the reception was fantastic to help and always smiling. The cleaning of the room was not okay. Used glass was in the room for 2 days without changing them, that is not okay. Your hotel i placed very good and it is easy to go to the center of Stockholm. During Easter the breakfast was changing a lot. Some days there where a lot of different things and other days there was not so much. It will help you if you keep the same level every day. We saw that the equipment in the fitness area was broken and that needs to be fixed. All in all we was happy to stay in your hotel and will for sure book your hotel again for the next visit in Stockholm.

The Hotel is well communicated with the city. However we did not fully appreciate the stay. The room was cold. WiFi does not reach room 722 we have occupied (despite asking the reception to assistance) as well. Out of 4 nights the room was skipped in cleaning twice. Had to ask downstairs for someone to change the towels and take out the trash. The gym is ancient. Rusty and not equipped to be called a gym. The last but not least the breakfast was disappointing. Scrambled eggs made of a powder and poor choice to choose from. Most of all the reception was offer empty and we had to wait in a line of 3 or 4 for someone to take care for us. As a gold accor hotels member I felt nothing like it. One more think the accor claims the hotel I 4 stars and the hotel is 3 (should be 2).

My only complaint was with the room (320) as we could not open the window, not even with the handle that we had to collect at Reception. So it became very hot and stuffy. Except for that, the room was comfortable enough. The breakfast was very good. We appreciated the self serve coffee and tea in the atrium.

I am writing to complaint about a wrong charge that was made with an Accor reservation (FSVDMZRL) . I currently stayed at Ibis Styles Jarvaa in Sweden (from March 09th until March 11th), where I planned to pay my stay with a mix os points and money. It is not the first time I have done this method of payment and reservation. It is easy and pretty much a seamless experience. Until now. So I checked into the hotel and was received by Alex, the front desk responsible to manage the check-in process. At this time I told him that I would like to use my points as a method of payment. At first I think he did not understood me, but as I explained it to him I think he managed to understand my request. I gave him my credit card and my Le Club Accor Loyalty card and I went on with my life, thinking that everything was set and ok. So at the check-out another helpful lady told me that everything was set. No receipts or printed bills were given, but since I did gave my Le Club Accor card to Alex during the check-in I thought they would automatically deduct the points and charge the rest of the amount in my credit-card. This have not happened. They have charged me the whole amount and did not took any points whatsoever. I was waiting in the lobby as I realized this have happened and I asked the front desk about it, which called her manager to come and talk to us. She was very kind but told us at first that we should have requested it during check-in. But after I told her that I had made that specific request upon checking-in , she said that the reservation was an unrefundable one and there was nothing she could do and the only way to redeem points was to do it through the website, which is simply not true. And the booking made was a refundable and flexible one. I think she did not seem to know the current rules of the Accor loyalty program. In it it states that the points can be redeemed during check-out. And. So I would like to get my points redeemed (8.000) and be charged the correct amount of money using these option given by Accor. I hope this matter can be solved quickly.

At first I was glad to find out that the hotel is rather close to city center. Then I've been given a room on the 7th floor with a floor lamp that couldn't be turned on and with a hole in a curtain. But that was ok, but when I tried to connect to WiFi, I realized that the connection is really awful and had to ask for a room change. Of course there's a TV with whole 17 cable channels, out of which maybe 7 work. Luckily, the receptionist kindly changed it to the one at the 4th floor with better connection and even more spacious one. The weather dropped -10 in the evening and in the room was a bit chilly. The equipment and interior of the rooms have definitely seen better days. And one more major disadvantage was to be woken up in the middle of the night by noisy drunken neighbors apparently cheering some TV sports competition or just killing each other, could be any. So the walls are very carton like. The breakfast was very modest. The stuff was nice, polite and helpful.

« Very disappointed with the overall experience. »

The cleanliness of the room was disappointing as well as the overall maintenance of the room (the shower was dirty, and both door handles were broken). But we are most disappointed that we paid for parking, were given instructions on where to park (which we followed) and were given a parking ticket. Only to be told "it's a rental car it shouldn't be an issue for you" and that if it didn't get resolved with the parking enforcement that the hotel would NOT pay for it. They told us they were going to email us the following day with a resolution and they did not reach out to us at all. Considering how much we paid for the room, we expected better service.

Not very good. When I first approached the door the room was already unlocked with the door latch out so that the door was not locked but open. When I first step foot in the Door the room stank, it smelled horrible. I immediately opened the two windows and let some fresh air in. I the went in the bath room and this too smelled, the smell was unbearable. I found some switches at knee level height and which I pressed thinking the ventilator would come on and shut the door. 1o minutes later there was a knock on the door and it was the receptionist asking if there was a problem, apparently I had switched on the distress alarm in the bath room and not the ventilator. I explained to him the smell problem and he said this happens as the room has not been used. Finally the room felt a little beteer but of course cold now and I went to sleep tired and annoyed. The next morning the bathroom still had some smell and I showered anyway. The drain was bocked and the water started to fill the bathroom. Thankfully it was a short dhower otherwise the water would have crept nto the bedroom. I took some pictures of the flooded batchroom. I also reported this to the receptionist upon checking out - who ade a formal not of it.

The hotel was good and modern. At the breakfast I missed cappuchino. The Room 417 was really not ibis standart. Inside room, no window, showerdoor was broken, no aircon so no adjustment of temperature. You should not rent out this room. Better use it as a storage room

Everything was absolutely perfect. The room are super cosy, there is a free sauna available all day, as well as free coffee, tea, and super tasty Stockholm tap water. Moreover it is quite close to a train (5-7 minutes walk) leading you in less than 20 minutes in the heart of Stockholm. My only complain would be the synthetic bedsheets and linen that make you swet like a 50km marathon every night. If they could be replace by cotton material one day this hotel would just be the perfect place to rest ON EARTH. I swear on my own's head.

« Lovely stay for New Years »

We booked a 7 day stay at the hotel, but trough their „Partner“ AccorHotelsGroup, which was our worst experience yet. No proper Costumer service, failed promises and only lies. As we booked with Accor and found a cheaper offer, they gurantee the cheaper price and additional 10% off. They also promise to respond within 48h..we ended up spending 2 months talking to them and being held up. It was always us calling, we were being lied to several times, even by the manager. I do not recommend any bookings with this brand name. However, we were going to stay with ibis styles either way and we were positively surprised! Accor is only in Cooperation with ibis and not the actual hotel chain. On our arrivel night we didn’t get a double bed as originally booked due to a lack of vacancies, however, the staff at the reception changed that the next day without any problems. Half of the Hotel is being renovated at this point and we got one of the new rooms and we were quiet stunned! VERY clean, obviously very new, very good and flexible housekeeping service, absolut friendly and helpful staff in general. As we read the previous reviews we were really skeptic since it was supposed to be worn down and damaged rooms. All I can say is that ibis is currently changing that. The breakfast was a grand buffet of everything one could wish for after waking up in the comfortable beds. The cleaning seevice at breakfast was somewhat slow, we had to clean our own table a few times to get a free spot. The location is also very convenient. Fairly close to the airport and easy access to public transportation. The surroundings are alright, not a lot to do. The spa could also use a makeover, maybe this is still to come. All in all the ibis styles in its “new shape” is very much recommended by us!

I requested paste check out for an hour but I was informed that I must pay more money for this hour as this is the new policy. I told the receptionist I am silver loyal member so she said even gold members will have to pay. I had to go back to my room and check out 10 am to leave my things in the reception room

« Bad customer service by the duty manager.. »

As mentioned above,upon arrival we were not welcomed with even a smile by the Duty manager . Booking Couldn't be traced .Long wait without a single apology.just bad body language and service . A complete opposite from what we expected and what we have experienced in most ibis.service by the Duty manager and the staff is way below Normal Ibis's standard . However ,the restaurant manager Alex Is good and friendly .

After a difficult check-in, we found the room a bit dated and worn down. The window wouldn't stay closed and lighting was a bit bad. However the environment of the hotel, and the breakfast were quite ok. Overall close to Stockholm and acceptable for the price.

bad service during check in, mainly from the (in my understanding) reception supervisor, Ms. Neda had a professional approach, room quality 1 of 10, it's a pity that i cannot upload pictures that I took. Furniture and walls were scratched and broken, amount of rust under shower made me want to buy a coca cola to fix it for you. Some of reception team members are not customer service minded, at lease welcoming guests while they enter the hotel should be a standard. The only thing that kinda saved this visit was the broad breakfast buffet with a nice service. Overall I was expecting much more, especially for that price (2000 SEK!) and considering that I'm a loyal member of LE CLUB ACCORHOTELS SILVER and I didn't even receive a welcome voucher although hotel takes a part in the membership program. In general I'm dissapointed.

It seems evident that the building was not purposebuilt as a hotel, but rather built for office use and subsequently converted to a hotel.This means that the rooms have strange shapes and frequently less than ideal sizes. This time I stayed in room 610 where the tv was wallmounted in such a way that I had to fold it away to gain access to the desk. And unlike my last stay, which was in a room where the bathroom alone was larger than many hotel rooms, room 610 has a bathroom so small that it is hard for a grown man of normal proportions to sit on the toilet with the door closed. Despite my best attempts and a top-of-the-line computer, I was not able to connect to the free wifi when in my room. When in the front hall or when in the room with my room door open, I had no problems, but as soon as the door was closed, the signal disappeared... The staff is courteous, helpful and smiling. The breakfast buffet is adequate but not luxuorious. Parking in the area is quite pricey (at 150 SEK per night), considering that this is an economy class hotel.

Perfunctory. Shower didn't have a closing door. Corridor was noisy with open doors to storage. Room was cold and difficult to heat. Staff are not overly pleasant or friendly. I don't enjoy eating dinner in a lobby.
