« Excellent stay »

We stayed at the Ibis Styles Stockholm Jarval for three nights in August 2018. We had an Excellent stay. The staff of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The reception and the breakfast room were very beautiful. Maybe you need a small change in room furniture. The breakfast was very rich. Public transport is very close to the hotel.

The staff is brilkiant,rooms clean, wi-fi speed very good, breakfast normal with good choice, location is good near comuter train station Ulricsdal you need 3-4 minute by foot and you can get ti gamla stan in 20 minute till t-centrale station. Or you can ger in airport till Arlanda C station in 26 minutes. Bus stop Jarva Krog station is in 4-5 minute by walk and you can easily get by bus number 176 or 177 to drotingem pallace in 30 minute,also you can get in airport by flygbusarla in 20 minutes.

« Decent Hotel within the Solna area »

Room was not ready at given time, family room without possiblity to open windows and poor air flow (outside temperatures over 30 degrees and upper floor). Thanks to customer service we got another room and rest of the stay was ok. Breakfast good. Some noices due constration areas around the hotel. Decent place for short stays.

« Hotel was a bit "tired" , but everything was clean and comfortable. Staff was really nice! »

By "tired" I mean for example ceilings, hallways and doors etc, which is totally understandable, but noticeable. Beds were comfortable, sheets were clean and nice and it was good to sleep! Breakfast was also quite normal!

The hotel’s interior need to be cleaned - the carpets on the coridors are not clean and fresh. There’s no glasses for water, no safe in the room, no bar/restaurant in summer (and no small fridge in the room). But stuff is really ver6 friendly.

Air con is very poor even considering the heat! Shower unit needs attention( told lady at reception) Floor at entrance to loo and shower room uneven ( flooring springing up) Otherwise all ok just needs a bit of TLC. Ps The aircon in the Bremen City is not great either where we are tonight 28/07/18

« Nice hotel and cool even though it was really hot outside. »

Nice and quiet hotel and easy to get to. I got quick answers from the reception before our stay. They gave me answers about how to get there from the airport etc. It helped a lot. While been there we got little mixed information about the Arlanda express train leaving from Solna centrum station. It didn't. But there was another train. Price in tota was nice considering close location to the Friends Arena ja Mall of Skandinavia. They are walk away distance. We had a really nice stay.

« Nice stay but confusion with room upgrade »

I originally booked a single room for a very good price but later realized I needed a double room. I sent an email and got an offer to upgrade the room for 200kr. (Which was same amount as I would have paid extra at booking time for a double room). When I arrived at the hotel they told me I had to paid 200kr/night instead of a total of 200kr. As I could show the email where they had written I only had to pay 200kr I think they should have held that promise. Anyway the room was very nice but the hallway outside the room smelled a bit bad. I would say the room was much nicer than I had expected considering all the bad reviews on Tripadvisor. Although I felt a bit tricked by the final price I think the front desk were very polite and friendly. I was also surprised that I only could get non-alcoholic beverages with my silver member free drink. And also the parking was super expensive, 150kr per 24hours. But I managed to find a free parking further away from the hotel.

« Decent value for money in Stockholm »

The hotel was nice and clean, but lacks air conditioning in the rooms. It was very hot during our stay, so had a hot night. Breakfast is basic. Family room was large enough for four. Parking quite expensive at 150SEK.

« Great location, quite location, pleasant stay, great staff. »

The hotel is located in a good location, not too far from public transport. Metro and bus stops are within walking distance. For us there was a car hire place near by, fuel station near by and the hotel also had its own garage for parking. The staff were great, helpful and polite. Most evenings we were at the hotel and one staff in particular was very nice and help to us, her name I think was Marjam. She worked during the night. For Stockholm the hotel was reasonably priced, so we would recommend it.

Good hotel choice. They are a little bit far from the city center, but it pays off when you need to get to the airport. metro station with excellent access, which is 200 meters from the hotel. Hotel staff were excellent and what was not good in the room they sorted. Price is the average for the City.

An unbearable noise from the neighbors all night, double bed instead of two separate, the absence of normal towels, the absence of the heat gun, breakfast at 7 in the morning has turned into a very real torture- at the stadium during a football match more order and tranquillity
