Good staff, room and bed good, bath towels a bit small and worn. However, the exchange rate used to convert €80 worth of Accor points to £ is a scam. It was off the interbank rate by 5%. Why is Accor pocketing 5% of the value of points when people in non-Euro countries use them?

The hotel is good, but too expensive. There was no muesli available for breakfast and no Hendricks or Tanqueray gin available at the bar. Due to a bug in the Accor iOS App, I was unable to use my award points to help pay for the stay.

I love staying at the Ibis because of its location right next to the station . I come by plane and train. The young friendly reception staff always great me like an old friend and give me a room in my preferred location. Being an Ibis member the water in the room and drink voucher is very welcome.

Good location for us. Good breakfast including reasonable gluten free options (could be made better with, say Gofree cornflakes as an option?). Rooms usual standard. However, quite pricy for what it is and really the loo rolls are very poor quality for the price/standard of hotel. also the towels are skimpy but at least you can ask for more. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will probably return.

« great location, a little more small things in the rooms would have made it an excellent stay »

Nice stay, very please room was ready an hour early, makes a big difference. It would be greatly improved with little things like, hairdryers which work (the cheap type in the rooms overheat and cut out very quickly) a couple of extra towels rather than only two would make a difference. check out and check in very easy though not much room to wait while room is being made ready.

So easy to book in the room was clean and fresh. The hotel was a little way from the main town but a lovely walk. The hotel also had a 24 hour coffee shop which is great when you walk back from the town and great coffee too

The check-in staff were friendly and informative. The room was very clean and comfortable. The room was well thought out. The hotel is very close to the train station but I was not disturbed by noise from the trains. A big bonus is the comfy bed and air conditioned room. Check out was also very quick and easy.
