Maintenance needs improvement, bath tub was unusable, room had poor lighting. It would help if front desk staff is interactive.

« Great value and good location »

I chose this hotel because of the location and value. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived and learned bus transportation was included. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was sufficient. Our only complain is the pillows. They were heavily used and didn’t have much life left in them.

Poorly designed room, one side of bed against a wall, shower that flooded the floor, air con that didn’t work, room very hot so had to have window open all night and a poor breakfast experience. Hot food not even lukewarm and breads that were stale.

« Bad bed »

Check in was ok. hotel generel clean and the staff nice. The problem we have was the bed. It was special our daughter bed as she felt the spring in the bed and sleep very bad. She is a skinny girl. The other thing that was disapionted was the refilling of the brekafast. First day we eat late around 0930 and no more bacon. accetable . Second day we eat 0830 and again no refil. I ask and I received bacon but it should not only be for one person. Strange as we use accor hotel in Paris before here and after in Salburg and Vienna and here the refill the whole time

Our room was adequate but the street noise below was extremely loud in the middle of the night. While this isn’t the fault of the hotel it made a memory of our time for sure. The breakfast was really well done & kept on always by staff.

We stayed for 5 nights. Everything was good (location, room cleanliness, breakfast, reception) except 1) The shower box is old so after shower, bathroom floor is wet. 2) The coffee/tea machine stops working properly due to many people use it continuously.

Our booking was for a queen size bed and we got a double. We were put next to the lift which was very noisy The shower couldn't hold the same temperature for more than 5 seconds The carpets were stained and looked dirty Centrally located, but so are many other hotels so I would not return

« Everything about this hotel met our expectations and was even better. »

Everything was excellent. The front desk staff gave excellent service. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable and clean. The breakfast had a big enough choice for all of our family and was well set up. The location was perfect for touring the city. It's already our third visit and we will be back again.

« Room was dirty and in very poor condition. »

Room was in poor condition. Tile floors cracked and peeling everywhere, plaster around the window broken and paint peeling along with lots of visible dirt on the glass. Shower tile had lots of visible mold. Main light fixture on the ceiling had visible dust and cobwebs hanging from it. For some reason our room had an additional bed folded out from the sofa for 2 additional persons and when we folded it up so we could use it as a sofa, there was lots of dirt and dust under it that we cleaned ourselves. The sofa was also covered in very uncomfortable and cheap looking plastic. The decorative end tables were both also in poor condition with scratches and marks on them everywhere. Water temperature in the shower would not regulate properly and the water would go from cold to dangerously hot all by itself about every 30 seconds or so. I stay almost exclusively in Accor and Ibis hotels for years and this is the worst room I've stayed in. Very disappointed.

I very much appreciated the readiness of my room during my arrival, I felt respected and an important guest. The room as well surprised me and my wife in terms of neatness and the veranda is a big plus factor giving us a nice view. Another great thing about our stay is the free public transportation tickets given to us during check-in. Csilla one of the staff was very quick to help us get through on how to use with ease the map of Lucerne with regards to the transportation services. The hotel location is also terrific as we adjusted without much efforts to roam around the city and visit key tourist spots. I can say that our trip to Lucerne is one of our unforgettable vacations. We are planning to go back with the entire family and stay at Ibis Styles again.
