No water in room 3 days, front desk advised situation would be fixed each day, water would come on for short time, then stopped falling. It was like a Chinese guest house 25 years ago. They only arranged anew room when I requested a new room. This hotel has a high occupancy rate, and therefore in my opinion does not hve to excel in guest services. I am fluent in Spanish, so their was not language barrier. I spent 13 nights in this hotel when I was in Cartagena on business in the last few months. The hotel is reasonably prices, and It is a good location for my activities, but I am already for looking for other hotels in the area.

This problem altered the aqueduct systems of the establishment, which generated lack of water pressure in certain floors, lack of hot water and consequently inconvenience for our guests. We reiterate that we work 24 hours a day to be able to give a solution as soon as possible but due to matters beyond our control, we take longer than expected. Had no hot water for three days, no water in my shower for two days, simply unacceptable. Management and people at the front desk didnt handle the situation properly. There was no warning, and didn’t offer another room for 24 hours

the main door entrance was broken for all the 5 days I stayed at the hotel, the main driveway was flooded and blocked afterward. The A/C system in the room did not cool the room enough, it looked like it was not blowing enough cold air into the room. The window gasket facing the ocean did not seal well so I could hear all street noise overnight coming from outside. the room was clean, great breakfast buffet in the morning, staff was ok, some of them were friendly some of them were not.

all of the staff was very helpful and welcoming, i did not experience any issues. the only suggestion i would make is describing the use of the card in the room. it took me 20 minutes to realize i had to insert the card to receive any power. I also only was given one card, so when i would leave and come back my room would be extremely hot due the weather conditions outside.

please read my tripadviser Reviewed May 2, 2018 Nobody in this hotel / restaurant/coffee shop speaks English, check in took more than one hour, one very slow confused guy, we were hot tiered after a long flight, they didn’t even offer us a glass of water, we asked for the manager thinking that if she come she and will give him some help, but no. she did come and we had no idea what she told him. he still had to redo every step of the check in twice and all in slow motion. We think he just did it on purpose. Then finally going to my room up the very slow elevator telling myself --- haaa soon i will be in the shower---the key was not made right, so........... Down I go again, now the line is 10 gusts, I was asked to wait in line. I said NO WAY give me a key to my room,,, RIGHT NOW. A respectable hotel seeing us so upset would at least give you and apology or drink voucher. BUT Nothing. The manager was useless and did not control her employees it was obvious. . I stay with La Accor hotel on most of my trips usually very happy but this hotel was just unprofessionally managed. Hotel is in front of the beach but has small windows and built real strange so there is really no view at all unless you stand on a chair. Tiny closet in a corner hard to reach. tiny room no amenities. No breakfast room service “you need to come down to the coffee shop she said to my translator app. I was refused to add this booking to my Le Accore account because it was booked on Booking.com ????. I am a silver member using booking.com often and while checking in I was always able to add the booking to my account, but not here.
