I'm afraid after staying in Accor Hotels for the past five years this would have to be the most average I've stayed at. Bathroom very outdated. Terrible customer service on desk. Waiters in restaurant very friendly but seemed to lack experience and finesse. Stayed in this motel as it had parking which a lot of the Canberra Accor Hotels don't seem to have included in price. The bed was very comfortable. Room very noisy though. Wont stay here again!

Worse experience I have had at this motel. Room was above reception, kitchen, bar and entrance. Children screaming and running up and down corridors, cartwheeling in reception. Room not serviced when we returned at 5.30pm. No service had to wait for bar & meal service and reception to answer phone and deliver milk which was not replaced.

"Apartment" room requires an update, we asked for a new Tea Towel multiple time to no avail, the restaurant really struggled during the trip - poor food quality, availability. Staff feedback - all can be fixed with some Management support and focus.

We have stayed at this hotel previously as the location is good and service good. However this visit was not as good. We had a two bedroom suite with four people. Unit was noisy due to bus/car park at rear of unit. Only two sets of cutlery/glasses for four people (picked up extra from restaurant). Called in service man as blinds did not lower. Breakfast room was overcrowded and could not keep up with numbers.

The hotel was clean, well serviced and good value for money. We stayed in a family apartment which was very generous in space, well appointed and well heated. The restaurant meals were good with a good variety and well priced.

Comfortable and convenient stay. Room large, if a little dated in styling. Minor issue with the bathroom shower head which was not tall enough for my height, and made things a little uncomfortable. All in all though, an acceptable stay.

Check in process not the greatest. Had difficulty finding the room as not enough guidance given. Cleanliness a touch below par. All other aspects good. Very good breakfast. Free parking is a big plus. Location great.

Everything was great apart from excessive noise from the room above when what we assume was the shower being used. We were in room 101. However this only occurred twice during our 1 night stay.

Our stay here was pretty disappointing. The room is very tired, joinery needs replacing, TV and hairdryer didn’t work, and the seal was coming off the edge of the shower door, allowing water onto the bathroom floor. There is insufficient car parking meaning you can end up parking a long way from your room. The bed was very comfortable, but the sound insulation between rooms is poor. There are better options in better locations for similar or better prices.

« Needs attention on cleanness »

Stayed there for two days with families with kids but the rooms were not clean. Asked for quite room and got the building on back side one. I think the building itself requires maintenance. Room had dirty spots everywhere including carpet. Washbasin had drainage issue, had no energy to talk to the reception and change it either as we all were so tired and needed rest.

Hi, im only staying it your hotel at narrabundah maybe few times per year, and its been always nice, however maybe updating movie selection would make the stay more enjoyable. Another thing is the little envelope for the door keycard, it says "open your chakra" , seriously, it gives me creeps. I thought most public places are trying to be religiously neutral, without suggesting anything deeply spiritual unless asked. How about you would start adverising " Jesus loves you" , i would come over more often and leave with a happy smile on my face . But considering australians overall dislike with anything christian related i don't think you would get pleasant response from many guests. Your hotel has been my preference to stay in canberra for the past 5 years for few times a year for one or few nights , and quality of service has been always good, but i think something has changed recently , not sure what though. Ill try again in few months . Thank you for your services.

In Canberra for medical appointment, the Ibis Styles Narranbundah was a good location. The rooms are large and well appointed. A minor gripe, some staff had difficulty knowing the geography of the building and directed kms to the wrong wing.The dining was good with great quality food. The night was spoiled by a group of guests in the adjoining four rooms having a huge argument and fight in their rooms and the corridor. After rising reception, there was some cessation but it continued even noisier later.

The bed was fine. The pillows were not very comfortable. The room was large enough, but the bathroom was ageing and dirty. I could not turn the water off in the shower the morning I checked out. The service at the restaurant was not very good. The breakfast was good however. When I entered the room it had an overpowering smell of air freshener and the window was open, some thing that in the midst of winter I really don't think should happen. It made me think there was some horrible smell in the room.

« It is what it is, only thing special is the beds. »

It is a basic Ibis. Breakfast needed more staff on Sunday and for check in on Friday they needed more assistance. No Assistant Manager in sight helping either reception or during breakfast. The bed was great! The 2 bedroom apartments need a refurbishment however the standard rooms are very comfortable. Quick suggestion, have maps for the guests on how they get to their rooms. The route isn’t signposted and this makes it very difficult to find your room especially if your in a group.

The standard and cleanliness of the room was poor and left an unfavourable impression. At the very least I would have expected the mugs and teaspoons in the room to have been washed.
