Weird but an OK stay

The staff was nice but overall it was more "budgeter" than we thought: weird shower construction (you walk right into the room, no place for towels), the sink is small and right next to the bed, no bin and ventilation in WC, bunkbed with only one made (double) bed (and I planned we would sleep separately), no fridge (luckily, the staff was nice and took our medicine into the kitchen fridge), no kettle in the room but luckily a coffee machine with free hot water and microwave near reception.

My family and I had a pleasant visit to Hamburg with a short overnight stay at IBIS Budget Hmaburg City. The reception was warm and welcoming, the accommodation was satisfactory for the type of hotel and the breakfast was super.
