« fix up your loyalty reward system please »

the hotel and staff are very good.but staff should be trained to OFFER or remind guests they have loyalty points they can use rather than look baffled and need to seek advice from a senior.I had to beg/debate my entitlement,which eventually was agreed to be a refund, but I have not yet seen. The system is convoluted and does test how loyal I am prepared to be.

« Good location, tidy room but the pool being closed was a disappointment »

Reception staff were pleasant, the room was comfortable with a lovely view. Coffee at breakfast was very good. We were travelling from Newcastle to Melbourne and had booked the hotel for one night to give the kids an experience of a rooftop pool. There was no information on the hotel website to inform us that the pool was closed and no discount offered at reception.

« The place seemed a bit tired »

I stayed at the Pullman because the last time I went I had such a great experience. This time it was not so great .. the carpet in the halls need to be re stuck down and the place just needs a little up date.. I also stayed at the Pullman cause I wanted to use the pool.. disappointing the fact it was not useable when I was staying nor could anyone tell me when it would be fixed . If I know there was no pool to use I would i would of rethinked my holiday.. I really wanted to sit by the pool as I just been under alot of stress and was my holiday before I am about to have a major operation .. maybe you would let people know in future about major facilities not working

« Made to feel special on our anniversary! »

Having requested a nice view because we were staying in the city to celebrate our anniversary, my partner and I were unexpectedly spoiled with what I strongly suspect was a room upgrade as well as a little chocolate cake waiting for us. The next morning the staff in breakfast knew about it as well and came over to wish us well and presented us a lovely platter with fresh pancakes and chocolates. The coffee & food at breakfast as well as the selection was unexpectedly great, and the hotel room was lovely. The only single thing that wasn't perfect about our stay was that the pool was closed in the morning when we went to swim before breakfast (for no obvious reason). A sneaky dip in the pool to start the day is my favourite part of a hotel experience so that was disappointing, but thankfully the spa was open! Thanks very much to the lovely staff that made our stay special. :-) I reckon we'll be back!

« I stayed at the hotel for three nights. My experience I would class as passable »

I found the services within the room complete and satisfactory, however I would highlight that the matress was very soft and did leave me personally with back ache. In addition to this I had dinner in the resturant on the monday evening. This was less than satisfactory and resulted in me sending the meal back twice!!! The waiting service were very apologetic and removed all charges from my bill. However my preference would have been the meal had been served correctly in the first place, aand that I didn't have to over hear the resturant supervisor having a disagreement over the phone with the kitchen about my meal.

Room was lovely but at closer inspection it wasn't as quality as it appeared. The bathroom had a broken cupboard and the tap for the bath/shower was really tight to turn on. My TV didn't work and I had to call for maintenance. Much to my disappointment the restaurant wasn't open for dinner so I ate in the cafe which was not very nice - I had the lobster pasta. The buffet breakfast looked amazing but I wasn't impressed with my omlette. The bed and pillows were very comfortable though and I had an amazing night sleep

« Wouldn't stay again »

The water pressure in my room was unsatisfactory. I did request that it be recified and the shower pressure slightly inproved, but was still unsatisfactory, and the pressure in the vanity sink did not improve. I couldn't wash my hair for the duration of the stay and it took forever to wash the toothpaste off my toothbrush. I did love everything else about the hotel but due to the lack of water pressure I would not stay again purely for this reason.
