« A night my daughter and I won't forget! »

The service was amazing when we stayed at the sebel in Brisbane. We planned a night for just myself and my daughter to have a girls night away. They made the night so special for us with personalised touches and treats. My daughter is still talking about it and can't wait to go back. We have never been anywhere to made to feel so special before. Thanks guys!

« Original room 1907 toilet didnt work, moved down to 1307, there were white stains on the couch »

the staff are fantastic, I was disappointed my original room had a faulty toilet and the second room couch was dirty.

Friendly staff,clean apartment and comfy bed. Two issues though. Firstly there was an overpoweringly strong smell of curry that seemed to come from a room next to us and could be smelt in our apartment too. Secondly although the hit bits of breakfast were cooked nicely and were tasty it was ridiculous to have to pay 5 dollars extra for an egg to go with the avocado. The fruit/ yogurt/ breads section could have had more choice and all never before have I only got one cup of tea with breakfast and had to pay more if I wanted a second cup.

The location is central and rooms were large however I did not have any ventilation in the bathroom. I asked for the AC/extractor fans to be checked as I could not see or hear any working. Someone came the next day, took some fluff off the ceiling extractor, put it in my toilet without flushing and told me everything was working well. I disagree as every shower the mirror steamed up and it really didn’t feel like there was any ventilation, however I did not raise this concern again as I felt it was pointless. Breakfast was chaotic and took an extremely long time, I would actively choose not to eat here again. The reception and facilities were modern and accessible. I didn’t have a problem but 2 of my colleagues could not sleep due to the noise.

We often stay at the Sebel in Brisbane. Location is fantastic, rooms are quiet. Staff are friendly. I would just like to mention your fantastic and honest staff. My son (10yr) saved up this pocket money over months to go shopping over the weekend. He had over $100 in his kids wallet. We only realised it was missing on Saturday afternoon- after we checkout. I called the Sebel to ask if house keeping found the wallet. They advised if has not been found. I then got a call from the reception a few day later and advised they found the wallet. I am very grateful they went the extra mile to find the wallet and it has now been posted to us. Thanks you for your honesty .
