« An Ideal Place to Stay in Sydney »

With a beautiful view of the Botanical Gardens, my husband and I very much enjoyed our seven night stay at the Pullman Grand Quay Sydney. All the rooms are essentially suites with a separate bedroom, living room, well-equipped kitchen and dining area. There was even a washing machine and dryer although the hotel did provide laundry service. The comfort level was high, the decor and furniture attractive and the location superb. This was my second time at the hotel and I will definitely return.

Not the normal high standard, rooms a bit tired. Disappointing check-in, not priority. Issues with room AV. Staff were great and provision of welcome gift for Mother was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was excellent

Positive check in experience. Our request for 2 suites on the same floor was fulfilled as well as early check-in. Was not asked for Accor club #. Fire alarm on the night before our departure which disrupted our rest. The next morning during check out, there was no apology for the disruption nor were we asked how our stay was.

The experience was overall excellent. Although the rooms are a little dated. Bathrooms - older shower heads that kept falling and couldn't be tightened into place. Carpets worn. Might be time for a soft renovation.

Check in was only ok -didn't feel like an Accor member. I asked about an upgrade - said nothing available - although I could get a water view if I booked online that day!!! That was disappointing. Breakfast was very poor service. Had to ask for menus, had to ask to order, no water given on table, juice took 15 minutes to come. We had to ask about our food after 50 min wait - Our order was lost! For such nice hotel we felt like it was a circus! 5 wait staff working as well!! Yes, we did get our breakfast complimentary. On Checkout waited for 10mins for service - the young lady served me when she was ready - this was after a gentleman told me to head over to her. I wish I hadn't wasted by points on this hotel. Very very disappointed.

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, the breakfast and bar was very good, the room we had was very big and spacious, a little bit dated, carpet was lumpy and spa bath was stained. But overall we were happy and had a great couple of days.

« I always enjoying staying at the Pullman Quay Grand because of the service and position »

I stayed for about a week and was able to catch up with friends and go to the opera, art gallery, and downtown. I feel the Pullman is in the perfect spot for me to do all these things. I was also able to book room for my family to come together for my birthday next year during the vivid period and found your staff extremely helpful in organising the Hacienda room and a high tea for this.
