Hotel apartment was very clean and exceptionally well equipped for every eventuality. Staff were friendly and more than helpful. Fabulous breakfast, a great start to a day sightseeing. Train, bus, ferries all within 2 minutes walk as are the opera house, botanical gardens and bridge. Balcony views of the bridge and harbour are icon. Only downside is the building works next door which made it too noisy to sit on the balcony, but not the hotels fault.

« Disappointing due to noise from the bar and spa did not work »

We stayed for three nights. Friday and Saturday the noise level from the DJ music in the Hacienda bar reverberated into the room until at least 1:30am. So fair to say we had little to no sleep. My wife attempted to use the spa bath and the jets didn’t work. Both issues were raised with the concierge on the day we left.

« A wonderful place to stay »

Booking in was easy and pleasant. Staff very friendly. My room, even though it didn't have a harbour view was on the 10th floor with a view to the Opera House sails and the Gardens. Bed very comfortable, bathroom very adequate and a kitchen and lounge which I really didn't use, except for making myself a coffee with the Nespresso machine. Very handy. It is close to everything I needed for the night and breakfast in the room overlooking the harbour was very good, especially as I had taken advantage of the $1 Accor breakfast deal. I had nothing to complain about at all. The hotel was excellent and I appreciated the wonderful art works everywhere in the corridors, rooms and reception. There was a small hiccup with the charge but that was handled very easily.

« Location,Location but room was tired »

The Location could not be better. However signposting the floor for reception better at Quay level entry would help. The room was comfortable and clean but the bathroom had peeling paint in the shower and the shower door seals were also defective as such the room appeared a bit tired. The room service menu was falling apart and while it cited a tray charge the in room breakfast menu did not so was disappointed when a tray charge appeared. The restaurant website also needs its menu updated desperately. Staff were attentive, friendly and professional and happy to assist. Would very happily stay again

Always great accept for mornings when it’s usual that the restaurant and room service is understaffed ( not early 8.00am ) no one answers the phone so I rang reception at 8.12 only after trying to get through placed the order a coffee latte and porridge, I rang back to room service at 8.40 , and it was nearly ready but I had to go . The staff are wonderful at reception , and in the restaurant , it’s not there fault I think it’s just the staffing , I found . This at other Accor properties that are managed apartments like this . May need peek time review of staffing . My experience though is always enjoyable , I am a regular guest monthly .

We decided to stay in a top notch hotel as a treat for our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed a great room, with a fabulous view of Sydney Harbour. Had an excellent meal in the dining room. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Our first taste of 5 star luxury was tremendous.

« Fabulous location but aged facilities and poor service for the star rating »

Regular visitor and can see that nothing has been done to maintain or improve facilities and furnishings. Wifi is hopeless and unable to sustain my work needs. This was augmented with a "hot spot" at the suggestion of the only staff person who understood what "service" actually means. Housekeeping turned on dishwasher and left hi unfinished and alarming with error signal. Shower door leaks all over bathroom floor. Room service food "just adequate" - not 5 star level. Parking expensive. Service in restaurant for breakfast occasionally good but mostly poor. After being a regular guest I do not think I can return, despite the wonderful view and location. It needs to be fixed!!

« Lovely apartment in an excellent location »

The hotel is located in an excellent location and right in the centre of Circular Quay where there are many restaurants, shops and every mode of public transport needed to explore the surrounding area. The apartment was spacious with lovely views and nicely furnished with a comfortable bed. The hotel bar where you can eat and drink has amazing views, unfortunately it was impossible to make a reservation for dinner as the bar had been booked for private parties for months in advance and on one evening we couldn’t use the bar at all due to a private party!! It is the only bar in the hotel and one of the reasons I booked this hotel was the photos of the amazing views from the bar used to advertise this hotel so we were very disappointed we could not use it!
