« Great views of Sydney but lacking in substance »

First problem was not being able to park outside; I had concierge parking but there was nowhere to drop off vehicle. Second was cleanliness of room; kitchen bench had sticky stuff all over it and hotplates were greasy. Third was inconsiderate staff in restaurant. Asked for pre theatre menu; show started at 7.30. First course came promptly but second course came at 5 to 7, despite my daughter getting up three times to ask where the food was. Staff ignored us. I have mobility problems (I had my walking stick with me) and had to race to Opera House to get there in time. Effort caused me much pain and humiliation.

Treat yourself to staying a couple of nights in a one-bedroom apartment at the Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour. I recently stayed for 3 nights in an apartment (with balcony) overlooking Circular Quay, the Harbour and Sydney Harbour Bridge. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, even a washing machine and dryer on hand! As a single female traveller, I felt very safe in my 10th level apartment. It was sheer bliss just to relax and be able to watch all the activity on the harbour, from my room. Loved seeing the Pacific Explorer leaving the wharf at Circular Quay at 4.00pm on Friday afternoon. So handy to the Opera House, the ferries at Circular Quay, the Big Bus Hop On - Hop Off Stop and Circular Quay Station. Great to be able to have a drink at the bar (with views to die for) before heading a short distance away to a Chopin performance at the Opera House. I found the housekeeping staff to be very obliging and delightful to deal with.

Firstly, there was significant building noise next to us on the Friday afternoon and then again on the Saturday morning. Secondly, breakfast was a disappointment, it was very ordinary and not what we expected

disappointing, room next to a constrution site, with pneumatic drill working Friday afternoon and saturday from 7.30am til after 1pm. house keeping never serviced our room Do not disturb notice ignored with staff continually knocking and then after no answer entered room

Thank you for the very efficient welcome for our first stay at your hotel. We stayed in a 'Bedroom Suite Harbour View' room and really enjoyed the private balcony, spa, sitting area and the facilities to make fresh coffee. The balcony view was certainly worth the extra price. Our A la carte breakfast was very nice and also a very refreshing change to the buffet breakfast we are so used too. The service from all staff was also exemplary.

We had our room preference perfectly catered for, very much appreciated that. Only thing could comment on negative was breakfast service was extremely slow and every day didn’t get what we ordered which was a surprise as on previous stays breakfast had been wonderful

Was disappointed with the house keeping. We left at 630am with the sign to make up our room left on the door handle, returned at 230pm room not done, went out again returned around 1hr later still not done, room was only cleaned by 4pm, after asking house keep to clean it. The cleaning was very poor, kitchen not cleaned at all, mess left around coffee machine, bathroom clean very poor, like bathroom just restocked and towels changed no cleaning at all, room service plates etc left out the front door until the next morning. Through we may have wifi included, we where never offered it though.

My wife and i always stay with you whenever we have that special occasion. it certainly puts the cream on the cake after seeing a show in the city or as it was on this occasion at the Opera house to come back to the ambiance of the Quay Grand. We will be back. By the way, we have a family occasion happening in November requiring 12 suites and have today requested a quotation from your booking department.Hope we can get a good deal.
