As an Accor Club member, I expected a much better quality room. The view was terrible, there was mouldy grout in the bathroom sower area. The room was very below Accor quality. I expected better from Mecure and Accor.

The Mercure King George Square is my go to home whenever we visit Brisbane. They never fail to impress us. It was great to see that renovations, including room upgrades, 6Antlers, Pool area and the Goldfinch restaurant have been completed since our last visit, and a credit to the hotel they all are. We visited on this occasion to celebrate my sisters 50th Birthday and even though they were busy, the staff could not have been more accommodating, Gunter and Kit especially made us all feel very welcome! We look forward to returning and have already booked for 10days over New Year see you again soon.

I visited Brisbane just for 2days to do sight seeing, i contacted the conceirge through phone and email and asked them for tour information, which was not provided to me. Even when i reached at the hotel in the night they did not have information, they just gave me brochures. I had to do everything by myself. Next day though there were two individuals in the concierge who were helpful. Cleanliness - The rooms were clean but the GYM Shower area and bathroom were not, even the towels and amenities like soap etc in the GYM shower were not available. Overall the location was excellent, close to all the sights and sight seeing bus pick up point, so i would rate slightly higher just due to this.

TV kept missing & jumping like ready to die. The floor had a big wet patch in front of cupboard. The floors weren’t clean we found an empty water bottle under couch that wasn’t ours. On the plus side the staff were friendly breakfast was fantastic

From the moment I walked through the front door the staff were amazing, Mike who introduced himself when parking my car was great, a good laugh with him. The room was fine and staff on the floor very friendly. A bit put off by how busy breakfast was, tried 3 different days at different times but still to busy. Would look to find a cafe nearby for breakfast so it's not to busy.

This hotel (or the Pullman) tends to be my go-to in Brisbane, with ideal central location and spacious, well equipped rooms. I did notice this start wasn't quite up to their normal high standards with a mix up of system input meaning I was locked out of my room when a late checkout had been organised. Then (after getting it reinstated) when I finally did check out, they said the system has me down as staying another night. The WiFi login didn't work, probably due to the same system mix-up. I wonder if they'll manage to credit the Le Club loyalty points correctly... The only other minor negative was the room was advertised as having a mini bar but this has been removed and replaced with a vending machine on the ground floor. Not that in this instance I would have used it, but have in the past and the room should not have been promoted as having one when it didn't, that's false advertising. Otherwise all good, these were relatively minor annoyances against an otherwise great stay.

Our experience was comfortable and relaxing. The staff looked after us extremely well; even changing our towels each day even though we left same hanging for re-use. Our hotel had many eating, drinking, and coffee options.
