Substandard. Very busy weekend, (conference AND the football), one lift wasn't working, coffee machine at breakfast was out of order, had to ask 4 times for a hot chocolate at one breakfast. Order another breakfast as room service, eggs were over cooked and hollandaise sauce was very very sweet and tasted like it was out of a jar.

We thoroughly enjoyed the location and perks of being an Accor member - free parking! - but felt the hotel itself was a little run down. The curtains in our rooms were awful! The bed was comfortable however. Very poor bathroom facilities - no shelf in the shower so had to bend down to pick up shampoo etc.

« Fairly good, comfortable room size and bed. »

Stayed for a conference. The room size was adequate and comfortable bed. Close to restaurants and easy to find. Your bathroom however is what the let down was. Shower was near impossible to get into. Virtually having to climb over the toilet to get in and having to hang onto the top of the shower screen to get out. It is a hazard really and leaves your motel open for many accidents. Otherwise it was a comfortable stay.

It was for a weekend away with a few friends. We had 2 rooms booked for 5 people. Experience was pleasant and the staff were very helpful. Food was great and the pre and post game beers for $5 and the burgers for $12 was a real hit and a very good initiative from the hotel. Only issue we had was that the television was not working ion room 507.

We arrived about 3pm, left the hotel at 430pm, got back at 10pm and then left at 9am. Parking was great. Room was great..... the guy who brought the trundle bed up was fantastic and brought another one up which was excellent so the 3 kids each had a bed labeit the fight over who got the sofa bed was loud! When we next come up for the Wallabies or Brumbies and they play at the BankWest Stadium we will stay again with you

Was good once past check in. Check in was not a very good experience. Paid for early check in with 2 beds and told WOW we have upgraded you to a King bed. Not what we needed. Originally booked for one person on the website but rang on the 27th July to change to 2 people with 2 separate beds. Reception had no notice of this. If had to wait for the 2 beds then MAYBE would be available by 2 pm. Our Conference started at 2 pm. That is why I paid for early check in in the first place. The food was very good. The service was very good except for the night bar man who was very slow. Also booked for a corner room with view. Was given first floor above reception. Noise from Street was heard in our room. This was for a conference in the hotel for Friday and Saturday and Saturday night. Wifi code was not given at check in

Due to a huge influx of guests, my room was not available until around 4pm. My room 214 does not have adequate lighting in the bathroom or near any mirror to shave if your a bloke or apply makeup (and not look like a clown). I hoped the mirror had lighting, but it didn’t. While I was lucky enough to receive the fruit platter, I placed it in the fridge until the Saturday night. The fridge didn’t work, so it was hot as was the strawberries I had brought along with me. The bed was comfortable and I was pleased to be able to open a window. The iron worked well also.

I am aware the renovations were under way during our stay however, there was a issue with insufficient staff especially during the busy evening periods and the service offered by the bar. It was not the staff fault however I found for a hotel of this quality to make those attending functions leave the function dining room to purchase a drink very remiss. Alcohol was supplied at the table by the Conference however if you drank anything else you were not offered table service and had to leave the function to go to the bar at the front of the hotel during the function.

Staff were extremely pleasant and always willing to assist. The room was clean and comfortable and although my friend and I started with a kingsize bed, it was quickly and cheerfully reconfigured to two single beds.

Not very pleasant in regards to some of the facilities and meals. The iron board was broken and very old, which left metal patterns on my clothes. The shower panel does not cover the entire shower area so I had water splashed onto the floor and the toilet. The night I was served lamb, my lamb was raw in the middle, I like it medium rare but the piece I was given uneatable. On the other hand, the sirloin I was served was over cooked, dry and difficult to cut through. No steak knives were provided either which made it very difficult to cut through the meat and when I asked for a steak knife, the waiter's answer was that she had to check with her supervisor?????? Whether she checked with her supervisor or not, the fact of the matter is that she never came back to the table with either a steak knife or with an explanation as to why steak knives were not given to the guests who had meat!!!!

We stayed one night at the Novotel Sydney Parramatta. It was a pleasant and comfortable stay. We ate at the propery and were quite happy with the meal - nothing paricularly exciting or negative. We wopuld he happy to stay again and will do so.

Stay at the hotel was fine, however have to question why the hotel after I have left and paid for my one $7 bottle of water which was charged as I went through checkout still decided to charge me $7 from my account without knowledge, justification and now I have to go through the hassle of getting it back. 2 calls in and still nothing. If I didn't check my account, that would have been $7 taken from me without notice, justification which is almost like stealing which I find a little rediculous. Now need to wait for it back. Sure it's only $7, it's the principle of the matter however. Trust is provided by giving you my card details, and the least I expect is that I don't have random withdrawal made from it.
