The hotel's dedicated events team and onsite audio visual supplier are experts in organising all types of events, from intimate seminars and boardroom meetings, to large banquets, gala dinners, wedding receptions and trade shows, complete with all necessary equipment. Refurbished in 2013, the pillarless Grand Ballroom is the hotel's largest event space, catering for 1400 seated guests or 1600 guests in cocktail style.

I always love to stay at the Pullman Albert Park, partly because of the advantages my Accor Loyalty membership gives me at this chain, but mostly because the staff at the Pullman Albert Park are all awesome. Flick on the concierge team, and Annabelle in the cafe are always lovely, and look after me well, but on this occasion the stand out was Reicho and his team in the hotel restaurant. I was dining with some friends, celebrating the upcoming 8th birthday of their daughter, and I happened to mention this to Reicho. After our main courses, a special birthday dessert, complete with sparkler, arrived at our table, with the restaurant staff singing happy birthday to our girl. It was a very special moment for her, and we are greatly appreciative.

Great spot to stay. Short walk to the tram stop and then off to St Kilda. Lovely quiet room, comfy bed. Love the coffee machine in the room too. Drinks downstairs in the bar were good too. All good thank you.

As a hotelier I encourage the view "If we do something wrong tell us, if we do something right tell everyone else." My expectations of staying in a 5 Star property were not met. I stayed in a superior King Lakeview Room, the curtains were ripped, with obvious signs of wear and tear. The pillows did not have a protector and carried an unpleasant odour. The room was not as clean as I expected, for example the carpet had stains and there were no hangers in the wardrobe. The bathroom was clean. The room decor seemed dated. There were lights everywhere with no consideration given to energy saving. I choose your hotel as my sister, Mrs Lillian Ryan of the Cancer Association, WA, was staying at your property.

It was great. We were upgraded to the executive room on level 9 over looking the lake. We were also surprised by a bottle of brut. In the past though, with special event, the hotel provides us with a platter of dessert too on top of the upgrade and bottle of champagne to wish us the occasion. Perhaps, being spoilt in the past with all those, this time is quite pale compared to what we had, hence the score of 7,instead of giving the 9 or 10. Our room also wasn't ready for check in at about 2.30-3 pm but we were given drink voucher each. Also, if we had been upgraded to the executive, perhaps, more explanation and info regarding what are provided in the executive facility, such as what services are provided in executive lounge. This is because we want to check out what services are in executive lounge as I left wondering as we walked past it. I feel that the staffs need to serve with smile more as we find that it's s sometimes lacking especially over at the bar or restaurant.

Overall a lovely stay. The room was great and I enjoyed the breakfast and drinks and canapes in the lounge and I thought the location was great. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There were 2 things to be mindful of - no milk in the fridge and the TV remote didn't work. Just an oversight and once we rang housekeeping did bring the milk and I'm sure they would've fixed the remote if we'd mentioned it. The bed was comfortable but I didn't like the pillows very much.

beautiful room, great staff and locality. My only comment was I had my room serviced and when I returned in the afternoon the extra key that I used to activate aircon and lights was gone. This key could be used to enter the room and that concerned me making me feel a little vulnerable to anyone coming into my room. I contacted the concierge and was told that no one would use the key, and did I want another to replace it. Yes I did want another key but the comment didn't make me feel any more secure.
