Clean, comfortable & quiet room. Nice little treat with some chocolates and water in the room. Wonderful cooked hot breakfast to order, plus buffet style breakfast, all inclusive. Didn't get to use the pool and other facilities as it was a quick overnight stay but would like to stay again and use it all.

The room was great and service was good, although we had a minor problem with our A/C it was dealt with by the maintenance team very quickly and efficiently.

Good accommodation. Units could have done with some mats for wiping your feet and some umbrellas. Food supplied for breakfast and morning tea for the offsite was hopelessly inadequate from a quantity perspective. Maybe that was due to under ordering? Food ordered a la carte at the restaurant was great, but that served at the all in dinner pretty average, no vegetables etc.

For what is supposed to be 5 Star, it is sub 3. The room felt like a Novotel not Pullman quality. It turns out that the accom is strata owned and that means if the person/people who own your room dont bother to keep it up to standard, you get ripped off. So incredibly rubbish from Accor perspective. The restaurant was cold, so poorly lit that most folk had to use the table candle or their phone to read the menu. Not that that takes long as there such as small selection of meals to choose from. They falsely advertise a "full buffet" breakfast, when in reality it is a continental breakfast and you can order only 1 item of a set menu, which is again so poorly lacking in selection options. They only supply you with one barista coffee and if you want more then it is pod only. As mentioned in the title, it looks great on the outside, but what was once i suspect a true 5 star experience has been diluted over time, but they still charge 5 star. When I raised my concerns at check out, they promised to pass on the feedback to the manager and I requested to have the manager call me to personally discuss. Some weeks on I still have not received a call, which is not surprising and in keeping with the general tone the resort. Having said that, I will commend one staff member, Adam who was on reception. He was the only one with a 5 star attitude, thanks you Adam for you great service. There were numerous other things that highlighted the true sub 3 star nature of Magenta Shores, without listing the, my hope it that this serves to strongly discourage anyone potentially interested in wasting your money at this rubbish establishment. Unfortunately the rating system doesn't allow you choose less than 1 out of 5.

We are disappointed to read that your experience did not meet expectations and we are working through your points now as a team to improve. Firstly thank you for your feedback on Adam our Guest Relations Manager we agree he is outstanding and a valued member of our management team. Please accept my sincerest apologies that you felt our breakfast offering was misconceived. It is a Pullman Brand standard to have a full continental buffet and then offer our guest's a la carte fresh to order eggs your way and of course several other options like benedict, Pullmans breakfast plate, omelette's etc. It is rare we get feedback on our offering most guests like the option of ordering their own eggs fresh however, we are happy to review this at our next strategy meeting. Please know that we have already implemented (1 week ago) further lighting in our Restaurant terrace section and we will continue in our refurbishment to address lighting. Our dinner menu has 19 selection items along with nightly specials however, i am happy for any feedback on what you would like to see. Would have loved to have had a longer stay, to take full advantage of all of your facilities and to explore the surrounding area a little more. stayed here for a work conference, accommodation was great and our meals for breakfast and dinner was great. Lunch menu needs some improvement, I was not happy with either meals that was pre-arranged.. In knowing this before would of been happy with the Sandwiches. We had golf lesson on the Friday and they were also great. All in all my stay was very nice.
