Sunny helped settle us in for a 2 week stay supplying extra kitchen equipment & salt. Anne led an efficient and friendly breakfast staff and the chef prepared fruit well, especially the blood orange and ruby grapefruit and the top quality croissants. My only disappointment was that you do not encourage guests to recycle towels and bed linen. Unless we were there, the staff automatically changed them. You do recycle soap.

The location of Quay West Suites is excellent and for this reason I may consider staying again, but the rate wasn't worth the room. Firstly, the pool was out of order and would have appreciated a heads up, I know that we were offered the Langham Pool but it was a bit inconvenient, secondly, I was a bit surprised when a twin share room only had singles and not two doubles, I usually have two doubles in a twin share, thirdly, our room was not cleaned while we stayed only the beds were made and the towels refreshed, I was told that our room would be vacuumed and the bathroom floors should have been cleaned but this did not happen, fourthly, the mini bar wasn't replenished daily and I was worried I would be charged twice for things I didn't have.

We recently stayed in Quay West Suites on the South bank in Melbourne during the period of the Victoria Racing Club's Spring Carnival. We found those working at Quay West Suites to be helpful and enthusiastic and they promptly followed up on some of the more detailed aspects of our stay. We have stayed at Quay West Suites on many occasions over the years and will continue to do so. The team was particularly helpful in accommodating our daughter for a single overnight stay during our visit.

Sunny from the front desk was most helpful providing extra things for cooking during a two week stay. Anne led an efficient and cooperative breakfast team and the chef prepared fresh fruit beautifully and provide good quality yoghout and croissants. I was disappointed to not find that towels and bed linen could be kept unchanged so if we missed the room service team they were changed too frequently. Left over soap is recycled.
