Reception was slow on booking in and leaving, all the outside doors had scratches and paint off which looked tacky. The lounge in my room had been badly damaged with scratched off vinyl and was in bad need of upholstery repair. The toilet seat was completely loose on one end so needed repair. The shower was OK if you were a dwarf. It was quiet though but a very small room. Probably would not stay there again even as an Accor member!

Room was good. Bed comfortable. Had a meal at the restaurant. I’m a strict vegetarian and the lack of options was very disappointing. With the only option to upgrade the entree to a main with no veg options on main. Waitress was helpful & suggested a few things. Had a pasta dish that was very oily & wasn’t that appetising.

The room was clean and as expected. Unfortunately there was only one face washer to be shared between 2 adults. There were people during the night talking and smoking outside our room as there was a small table and chairs positioned near the window which was very annoying, as I was trying to rest/sleep following an operation. There was no cutlery so if we needed to use a fork spoon or knife - we couldn't. The bathroom was quite snug and the toilet paper was positioned on the wall behind the toilet above the vanity sink which was quite difficult to use when sitting on the toilet. Not sure if I would book again. My first experience with the Mecure in Wagga was fantastic but this time it was average.

We certainly could have provided additional towelling and moved the table and chairs away from your room for you. We also have a duty manager on site when Reception is closed and any issues can be reported by calling our Hotel number. While the room type you had booked wasn't self contained, we could have also provided crockery on request. We do have Family Apartments on site which may suit your needs better.
