Clean friendly hotel. Room was nice and well furnished. Mercure wireless internet hot spot didn’t work in the room and was sporadic at best in the lobby. Food in the restaurant was okay. Stale bread with soup, wine was off.

Had a lovely stay at the Mercure Milton Keynes. The room was very comfortable and well equipped for our 1 nights stay. Breakfast was included in our package and was very enjoyable. The only small problem with our room is that it had a slightly damp smell to it. We felt that the corridors could do with brightening up, however the bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms were of a very high standard.

I recently stayed at your hotel. The hotel itself is very modern, clean and hotel staff helpful and friendly. My only disappointment was I paid £20 for 2 adult breakfasts which was inedible - this seems to be down to the fact that the chef was not only cooking but serving the food also. Items were running low and he was having to go back and forth to the kitchen to restock, leaving what was already on my plate cold with no facilities to reheat, making it inedible! Its clear you need more kitchen staff especially at busy breakfast times.

Had a great evening at my son wedding party.The staff were friendly helpful and went over the top to make the evening a great success.The breakfast the next morning you could not fault in anyway and once again the staff were friendly and helpful. Had a privilege room. Total waste of money. 3 silly tins of pop in the fridge and one choc bar! Sofa bed was so uncomfortable and dirty. Carpets heavily stained and smelly. 2 cups and tea bags, not enough. All decaf coffee and two pots of milk. Total waste of money, I booked the privilege room to have more space but with the sofa bed out barely enough room to get by. No face flannels. Everywhere was just dirty and old.

Having two grandson of 12 and a granddaughter of 10, was horrified to see that the hotel expected them to sleep together (which is unlawful) in a small sofa bed. Also with the price paid we expected more information on how the bath worked, after spending some time trying we gave up. Don’t usually complain but we came up from Guildford to our niece’s wedding. And was looking forward to staying at a lovely hotel.

My Daughters wedding was at Abby hill golf center and we all stayed at yours for the night although my daughter stayed the night before that too. There was a lot of traffic to her room etc but the staff were always friendly, helpful (when we needed more cups and milk). Nothing was too much trouble for them. I thank you all so much for that. The room we stayed in was great very comfortable and the shower was the best I've experienced for a long time. Please pass on my gratitude to all the staff . Thank you.

Pleasant stay. We had a family room with the sofa bed made up. My only criticism is that when the sofa bed is made up there is virtually no room to pass by between the end of the bed and the wardrobe. Maybe the sofa bed should be moved to under the window?

Delighted to get an upgraded room. Room was perfect. Breakfast - disappointed by hot drinks (hoping for coffee machine) and staff seemed surprised to be asked for poached eggs which then arrived on a tiny side plate!

On arrival check in your member of staff thought it would be appropriate to laugh at my surname. I then went to my room which was cold and smelt damp. I did manage to warm the room up with the air can however is still had a smell. Came down for dinner at 6:30 and the table wobbled that much it spilled my beer and the waitress brought napkins to secure. My steak took an hour to arrive and my dessert approx half an hour so the waiting times were rather disappointing. Back to the room at night the noise from the car park which my room was next to was rather loud. Only positive was the lovely ladies at breakfast in the morning.

Good Evening Mr M., Thank you for taking the time to offer some feedback on your stay. Please accept my apology for the unprofessional welcome you received on arrival. I was shocked to read your comments and must stress this is not how we train staff members to welcome the guests. The reception team member in question has been spoken to and understands that guests need to be addressed appropriately at all times. They have asked me to apologise on their behalf for the incident. You indicated that you room was cold and smelt of damp. I have asked the Maintenance team to investigate the issue and take any remedial action required. I have shared your feedback with the Food and Beverage team for the delay in serving your food. The team have processes in place to ensure that all checks are monitored and expedited in a timely manner. The length of time that you waited was unacceptable and I have tasked the Food and beverage Management team to review how they monitor the wait on food leaving the kitchen. This is the first time I have received a noise complaint regarding the car park. I will take this on board and monitor to ensure it was an isolated incident. I am pleased that the breakfast ladies were able to add some comfort to your stay. Mr M., the product and service you received was way below our usual standard. In order to recognise this I would like to offer you a 50% discount on a return stay at the hotel. This offer is valid until 31st May 2020 excluding special events and is subject to availability. When you have a date in mind please contact the reservations team (H8… ) who will take care of your arrangements. I do hope to welcome you back in the near future.
