The concierge charged me in double, and I just realize when I was doing the expense accountability process, then I had to ask for cancellation. First time that it happened, but frustrated that even on my checkout nobody was able to see this mistake and I found it only days after.

after checking out, the hotel refuses to give me any receipt, saying it is booked through hotelsone, one website. Like booking.com and other booking website, after staying at the hotel, it won't affect the hotel to issue receipts!!!! it was good. Staff was fantastic. However, the bathroom in my room had a leak in the ceiling, which I assume was from the air conditioner. Wi-fi in the rooms was bad, which for working purposes is far from ideal.

The Grand Mercure Vila Olimpia offered me the same reliable services that I enjoyed with the Caesar Business. However, I feel that some of the floors of the hotel (4th and 5th) and the furniture of the rooms could be upgraded...new carpets, new chairs, etc. Overall, my stay was comfortable and utilitarian.

All of the staff was friendly and accommodating. It was my first international trip and I don't speak Portuguese, so I was a little nervous. Lucky for me, most of the staff speaks English, and they made me feel right at home. Facilities were clean, rooms were comfortable. Will absolutely stay here again on my next visit.

Overall satisfied. Found a few small flying insects in shower, not enough concern to change rooms. Internet services were interrupted for about an hour. Happy with accomodations and ability to check in immediately after arriving (due to need to book the room for the day prior to arrival.)

Service was good. During the breakfast you would need to request things more than 1 time. No personal at the spa never. I tried going in different times and there was never no one there. The co work spaces look very cool, but it would be great to have more information on how to take advantage of them.
