It is a lovely hotel! The staff are extremely friendly and dedicated to customer service. The only thing that could be improved is that there could be an iron and a hairdryer already in the room (without having to request it). Also, I ordered a wake up call one morning and did not get it. But otherwise, amazing experience!

Restaurant - great initial meal - excellent risotto. Noticed that consistency of preparation changed - for example coworker had the ham/cheese sandwich twice and it looked different both times. Same for roasted vegetables The sink in my room drained very slowly and some piece of metal fell in the bathroom which no one took care of

Room was Ok, reception team was OK as well. Friendly people and very polite. However, I felt myself stolen in the restaurante. I´m fully aware that restaurants in hotels are more expensive than regular ones, however, the restaurant extrapolated all minimum reasonable pricing / size proportion. I asked for a grilled fish ( which was with price OK for hotels ) and should come with some side dish. The side dish was not included and I disn´t observed this ( ok my fault ), but I was charged R$ 20 for 4 small pieces of mandioc, which costs less than R$ 3 / Kg !!!! The dessert was the same situation. The restaurant charged me R$ 25 for two very small balls of icecream !! I really felt myself stolen. Very disappointing !! This misbehaving from your restaurant made me take the decision to do not stay there anymore and I shared tis stupid situation with my organization to avoid my other 4000 colleagues in the company ( just in Brazilian branch ) feel the same.

« EXCELLENT STAY »

We really enjoyed our stay. Great staff, very helpful and always available. Nice room. The breakfast was good and with many options. The Grand Mercure has many options around like good restaurants and bars and is very close to a nice Shopping Mall. We had a good time and we totally recommend it.

« Great staff, but rooms can be noisy »

Great staff, I was very well welcomed. There was a detail, I asked for a higher floor room at the online reservation, but got a lower floor. The front door at the room is not acoustic sealed. I could hear everyone walking through the aisle, and even more because they had given me a room right in front of the elevator. Besides all of that, my staying at the hotel was very pleasant, and I had no problems.

This is a very nice hotel in a good location for business, shopping mall and lots of restaurants. My room was large and the bed was comfortable. The only issue was the bathroom. It was very small and the toilet was hidden behind the bathroom door. I did not have the breakfast buffet on this trip. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I have to point out one person in particular at the check out on Sunday September 29th. His name was Erick. His was very friendly to me and I watched as he assisted other people. When my Uber arrived he even helped me with my luggage. I will stay at this hotel the next time I am in Sao Paulo.
