« Decent, good location, but not really a Styles »

It was an Ibis. I wouldn't have said a Styles, just an Ibis - nothing really stood out from a regular Ibis. Room was clean and well-maintained, except for the bathroom which was a bit bleak with water leakage and poor sink drainage. Poor choice of welcome drink, a tiny can of the cheapest local beer. Breakfast was simple but efficient. I'd probably stay again if it was cheap.

The hotel was great, everything was new and the overall quality of furniture and materials were great. The staff was nice and polite, the prices were honest, and the room service worked properly. For me, breakfast is the only point of attention here, the scrambled eggs were bland and the fruits weren't fresh.

« Good location and room but everything else could be improved. »

I booked Ibis Styles because I thought it was an international chain, so might have staff who spoke English. I was very wrong! The young team tried helping me through google translate and one person was very helpful and understood that I really needed to charge my phone and got me a suitable adapter. I’m surprised that Accor does not provide language training for staff. I was asking for simple things like a wake up call and adapter (not trying to discuss philosophy), which all hotel staff should be able to understand. OK, so perhaps Belo Horizonte doesn’t get many foreign visitors, but at this rate I would not say that the state was ready for tourism. On the plus side, the room was a nice size, the bed comfortable and it was very clean.

Check in Was okay and fast, stay without dramas. Dirty hallways, noisy, no noise protection. Exactly as all the rest of small pathetic ibis hotels.

The overall experience was good, but remarks to the air circulation system, which was noisy, even with the A/C off. I've booked two rooms for my family of 04. The rooms were side by side, which is nice. We missed the connection door between these rooms.

Staff very pleasant. Room and breakfast very good. Gothic lettering used for messages on the walls could be changed to a more attractive font. Was charged in error at check-in for room, which was to be paid for by conference organizers of WCS 2018, although I had insisted conference was paying. Check-out clerk on own initiative corrected this with devolucao form no. 89…, and hotel code 8952, dated 30/05/2018 in amount of R$103.95 for credit back to my Visa card. However, as of 6/6/18, I still have received no credit. Kindly expedite and send me a return email soonest. Kindly ensure better coordination with conference organizers regarding room payment for speakers in future. Thanks, Dr. Nikhil C..

« it was ok »

it was an emergency and the hotel was in a very good location. i arrived late at night so i went straight to bed, room looked clean and good enough. fridge was empty, i'd have appreciated at least some water in there. i left early on the next morning. had breakfast (which was ok, could've been better) and checked out. overall it worked for me, so if I ever need a emergency crash it will work.
