Front desk people were more than helpful with our room change over to have our two grand children to come and stay over on the last night. Just wanted to say thank you to the staff at the hotel for making our experience so special. It was my wife's birthday and we had to both do a business trip up to NC but the hotel spoilt her with a nice bottle of Champagne and some freshly made nibbles when we got to the room in the evening. Thanks.

We were greeted by the very friendly reception staff and allotted our room and then proceeded to our room where we found everything neat clean and tidy. Later in the day we made use of the bar and restraint area for a few drinks before dinner and then selected our meals from the excellent menu that was available. nothing was a problem when we checked out after our 2 night stay following a conference held on 10 October using one of the function rooms.

all aspects of the stay were good - housekeeping had welcoming wash cloth sculptures, reception was welcoming and friendly. Breakfast and dinner were both a good experience.

We have stayed at this hotel 2 times previously, as we continued to return as we were really happy with the accommodation. This trip was different. We ordered room service and the $18 soup was cold. That night we showered and the water was cold, too cold to have a decent shower. We thought it might have been because it was at night. The next morning it was the same, which for a hotel of this standard is really unacceptable. The buffet breakfast that we had, was fine except paying $20 for children over 6 is not acceptable. Most places, children 10 and under are children’s meals, not over 6. A 7 year old definitely would not eat anywhere close to $20 worth of breakfast food. Unfortunately due to your location we have no choice. We ended up spending $500 on the one night between accommodation and food. We will 100% never stay there again. In the past it was a perfect stop going back to Sydney from Byron Bay, but next time we would rather stop for a break and continue than to stop at the hotel again.

« Won’t be coming back. »

On arrival we had to wait quite some time as there was only one person on reception to check in. We had no hot water and I had to bathe my 6 month old grandson in cold water. On departure I went downstairs to find help for a luggage trolley so we didn’t have to make two trips but there were too many people waiting at reception and once again only 1 person behind the desk so had to struggle downstairs with all our luggage to the car. When telling the receptionist about the cold water she did apologise but there should have been some sort of discount or at least get the parking for free but we got nothing. Will never be returning!

Convenient, comfortable, good layout and design. Well thought out menu with fresh and tasty options. Thankyou to the chef who obviously cares. Good staff at reception and quick check-in. Only a short overnight for early flight, but exceeded original expectations and would have been happy to stay longer.

I booked a room for 1 adult and 2 children. The room I was given only had 2 King Single beds in it. I had to put my youngest Grandchild in with me which was pretty squashy. There was no lounge to fold down to make into another bed. I was a bit disappointed with this and was just too tired to go back down to reception. We had travelled over 4 hours before we arrived and we all just wanted to have a shower and go to bed. If I decide to stay again I really hope they will provide bedding for 3 people and not 2.

« brilliant »

we were in a family room and it was absolutely beautiful - i was shocked actually, i was expecting a utilitarian airport motel but we got a beautifully appointed room with big bed, 2 singles, couch, arm chair, tv, desk and chair, plenty of space!! all the staff were lovely. terminal transfer is obviously important so that was great. we did have room service and while the food was prompt and the staff lovely, the food itself was high on price and low on bang for buck.

I booked room with the $1 breakfast promotion but during checking I had been told by reception no breakfast included in the booking. I had to show her the booking confirmation email to get the breakfast. the whole process took very long time, Accor's system simply failed. Room was very clean and in good condition. Staff are great Rooms comfortable and clean Nice amenities TV service was a bit shonky but ended up being fixed so that was good. Was quite enjoying breakfast until I found a hair most definitely not mine and that put an end to that ☹️

Dinner in the restaurant was lovely. The staff accommodated my family group and ensured or rooms were in easy proximity. Very helpful. Lack of compendium in the hotel room was annoying and as was having to get out room key card reactivated twice!

« A pleasant stay for an early morning flight »

We chose to stay over to make a 6am flight. While there were small issues on arrival, staff were so polite, friendly and willing to assist that it really didn't detract from a very pleasant evening. The room was lovely, facilities excellent and very comfortable. We enjoyed a pleasant hour in the bar and our room service dinner was tasty and arrived in very timely fashion. Overall a highly recommended location when travelling.
