All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was really clean and I liked all the environmental measures. Food was fantastic and the pool was lovely to have a swim at the end of the working day. Really happy with my stay and definitely stay again next time I'm in Yangon.

1) Hotel network unstable. 2) Room TV not working. Have to ask twice for technical to come 3) Restaurant service lousy. When move away from table to take food from buffet, table was cleared immediately. This happened twice during breakfast 4) Even though hotel manager promised to pack takeaway breakfast when check out at 5am, but word as not passed down and breakfast was unprepared in the end 5) Room not at lift level. Make it difficult to carry luggage down the stairs from room to the lift

« Efficient check in/check out, housekeeping awesome job, nice facilities »

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay but felt service could have been a touch better at the restaurants/bar and the pool. For example, I asked to try Mohinga, the national dish, and it was brought to me in 3 separate bowls and I was told to mix it. I would have preferred that the staff do that, as it is my first time trying it and I don't know what is appropriate. At the pool, I was offered a towel, but no bottled water or even a drinks menu. Housekeeping did a fantastic job with keeping the room spotless and well stocked !

I had stayed at Novotel cause of my past excellent experience at the hotel. Overall, the stay was good. The only mild criticism is the conversation with the receptionist when I checked out. The person asked me to write my comments on Trip Advisor. She said the hotel had upgraded my room etc. I got the impression that her request of my feedback was somewhat intrusive. I personally think that the customers' feedback should be voluntary-based. Frequent travelers like me know that such kind of things happen on Trip Advisor, and thus I do not trust the opinions on the site. Besides, the receptionist told me that she would send the receipt by e-mail; however, I have not received it yet.

« Although I have satisfied staying in your hotel, I would say the rate of one night stay is rather high. »

As I explained in above short sentence, I would have to say that the rate of one night stay is rather high and did not get a room with a great view compared to the price you are charging. Therefore, I would be much appreciated if I could get a slightly bigger room with a great view if I plan to have a staycation at your hotel again in the future.
