We stayed at this hotel because of location and were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our stay. Buffet breakfast and coffee was good. Room service was also good especially the traditional italian pizza. We had a superior pool view room with two queen beds which was adequate in size. The room was clean with a nice view over the pool. The best thing though was how amazingly comfortable the beds were; we had the best nights sleep out of any hotel we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in many 5 star hotels in Australia and overseas). The staff were friendly and helpful and pleasant to deal with. Overall our stay was very enjoyable.

We cannot adequately express how impressed we were with all aspects of our experience during our overnight stay with you. We had travelled to the Gold Coast from Coffs Harbour on an emergency trip with our cherished Dog who needed urgent care at the Carrara Specialist Veterinary Hospital. it was not until 7.30 that evening that we knew that we had to find accommodation overnight as her condition was critical. My phone call to your hotel explaining the circumstances and requesting overnight accommodation was received with so much compassion and assistance that we were overwhelmed even before we arrived. As we had not prepared for an overnight stay we didn't even have a toothbrush. Your incredible receptionist immediately said not to worry -that they would have those essential things ready at check-in. Upon arrival we were so warmly welcomed that we are still feeling the care and understanding that all your staff gave. We were given a complimentary upgrade and nothing was too much trouble. The Room service meal was without doubt one of the most delicious meals we have had the pleasure of eating. To say thank you seems inadequate. When we need to have a break from life's ups and downs in the furure there is only one place that we intend to come to and that is your Hotel. Next time we will pack the golf clubs as well and clothes and our toothbrushes. Sadly our beautiful Daisy Dog was diagnosed with cancer on the Monday morning and we had to let her go so that she would no longer be in pain. Our hearts are broken but even as we drove home without her, the memories of our stay with you made us feel that at such a sad time, we had been privileged to stay with you.

Whilst on a road trip from Cairns to Sydney, traveling in a Motorhome. We decided to break the journey and treat my mother (Who has a disability “poliomyelitis”). To the comforts of the resort. Having stayed the previous year, knowing the close proximity to the Beach, Pacific Fair, local markets, Theme Parks. The staff were once again great at everything. The special needs room (1108) ground floor. Has its own patio and personal garden. It was unusually cold weather for the Gold Coast (11*). So we were delighted to be able to fit in two 30 minute hydro therapy swimming sessions, in the heated pool. (Approximately 32*). All of our meals were superb, and I must make mention of the hotels best kept secret. “Barista made Coffee”. It was the finest Coffee we had on our 3000 kilometer trip. Perfect treat for the weary traveler. We don’t know when but we’ll be back someday, and will certainly recommend to anyone traveling to the Gold Coast.

The Mercure Gold Coast resort standards are very high with friendly staff & is perfectly located My wife & i just spent seven fabulous nights at the Mercure Gold Coast resort & it was one of the best holidays i have had. A special thanks to reservation for allocating us the room we previously stayed in, this was of great help for my wife who suffers from a disability. A special thank you to house keeping who maintained our room at a very high standards. I recommend the Gold Coast resort for location, value for money, relaxation, & if you enjoy a good game of golf on a top class golf course, Or if you enjoy shopping it is all there with in a few minutes from the resort.

« Very clean and spacious room with a fantastic king size bed. »

The concierge at the front desk was very helpful and gave extremely clear and concise directions on the best place to park and how to locate my room. The room itself was immaculate and the bed was just the right amount of firmness, unlike other hotels with overly soft beds. Note that there were no elevators to the third floor so those with mobility difficulties may want to choose to stay on the lower levels. Overall very satisfied with the hotel and I would definitely stay here again in the future.
