Rooms need a revamp

We recently stayed 2 nights and were quite disappointed with the room. We booked a twin bed and although the room was spacious, it smelled mouldy, had visible mould/stains in the bathroom, stains on the carpet in the bedroom and a damaged floor near the fridge. It is quite disappointing as the room was not cheap, and we definitely expected better. The gardens and pool looked nice, but we did not enjoy our stay because of the condition of the room. Would not recommend.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here over the past 12 months and it is very pleasant. My only concern, and it was the same last year, is the buffet breakfast is very ordinary. I actually thought it was slightly worse this time round too. The food service in the main restaurant on our first night was very slow - I'm hoping it was due to being understaffed in the kitchen because it was unacceptably slow to receive meals. Staff are delightful and helpful.
