Everyone was very friendly. The rooms were large and comfortable. The balcony and swing chair were wonderful. We really loved the pool area and watching the sunrise.

1] Welcome at front desk was superb. 2] Hotel entrance stunning. 3] Hotel grounds meticulous. 4] Room stylish and spacious. ( light switches could be highlighted better ) 5] Pool ambiance exceptional. ( Buzzer on sun lounge for pool service would be a great addition ) 6] Staff all-round were amazing. 7] Breakfast wonderful. ( Logistics here needs addressing , seating , drinks ordering ) 8] We felt beach area was lovely but beach itself ordinary. 9] Toya beach bar and grill [ Nice idea of show casing Balinese cuisine and great opportunity to give a tourist grilled local seafood .. Menu was lacking simple seafood plates grilled by chefs on beach. To order seafood you needed to order a 3-4 course dinner) Great potential here to have an incredible beachside seafood casual restaurant. 10] Manarai beach house was amazing .. we had dinner there and was one of our highlights of our holiday. ( Promotions of this area in hotel could be more informative ) 11] We had an unforgettable dining experience at Cucina restaurant. 12] Checking out was impeccable.

The honeymoon at Sofitel Nusa Dua was amazing. Every aspect is taking care of and the room was set up nicely with a free fruit platter. Our plunge pool was fantastic and got lots of sun. The food at the restaurants was yummy and the main pool and pool bar make for easy relaxing. The onlu critique was the shower was a bit mouldy in the corner but can live with that for the rest of the experience

In general we have enjoyed our time at the resort and we appreciate the attention of our butlers. At the same time the cleaning and complimentary water at the room were exceptional. We loved all your pretty towel puppets. Thank you. However, the reason for the lower scoring was affected by some of the following : 1. predominantly an excessive abundance of Indian weddings along with music that disturbed the relaxation we seeked, and consequently a shortage in menu availability ie. sweet potato wedges which my son asked for twice and access to the Italian restaurant Cuccina, which was closed at times because of the weddings affecting its opening hours. 2. short hours of kids club and limited activities for 8yo 3. sewerage smell around the tennis court area 4. on our last day, we had a late check out (7pm) so we relocated from our villa to a std room , sadly we somehow had to walk to the main reception - there was no buggy supplied this time - not privileged in the end.

However, I regret to learn that your stay was not entirely up to your expectations. I have taken note of your remarks, especially about the wedding events taken place in our resort while you were in house, which also caused the outlet closure. Please rest assured as we have shared your concerns directly to the manager in charge to prevent repeat occurrences in the future. On top of that, we have highlighted your remarks regarding the activities in our Kids Club and shared it accordingly to the Director in charge for further review. With regards to the sewage smell at the tennis court, I truly apologize for the inconvenience. Our Engineering team has directly took actions to prevent the repeat occurrences in the future. Overall Experience was great . Beautiful setting and amazing restaurants and Bars. The selection for breakfast was unbelievable. I have never seen so many different cuisines served at a buffer. The only problem we encounted was the same day laundry service was not delivered till we requested the following morning.( not really same day )

I have stayed at the Sofitel many times before (maybe 5 or 6 times) - I am an Accor silver member and I booked four nights using the Accor website. The room we had was at the absolute back of the hotel overlooking nothing special. I tried to upgrade the room but was told there were no pool access rooms available (I understand this) but I was very disappointed with the lack of recognition of my previous stays. I also felt there was no solid communication about what is regarded as a hotel restaurant to receive Accor membership discounts - we ate in the hotel four nights in a row and only received a discount at the La Cucina not at Toya, or Manerai. I was underwhelmed and under appreciated.

We booked the pool access room with lounge access which was fantastic. Loved the resort and every detail from the service, the type of chairs and seating areas, the food. The only negative was that its a shame that the beach front cafe didnt have a better vibe and music.

Loved the Resort, Loved the room, loved the pool, bars, Toya beachside bar and Shisha, Restaurant, loved the buffet breakfast variety, liked the lounge. Our experience was only marred by the Cucina restaurant and staff that left us feeling very unwelcomed. We had booked poolside, we confirmed 3 times throughout the day to make sure it was available and it was confirmed, we were listed first on the list upon check in but were told when we turned up that the front row was booked out 2 days earlier. The front row was not in fact booked out, with one taken, the second only occupied from 8:30 (we were there at 6), and the third (ours) not contested. The night before, we were told we couldn't have the front row and one of the tables remained empty the whole night. We felt like we didn't have enough Instagram likes to be worthy and it was a major let down for AccorPlus Gold members staying in a premiere suite to be made to feel like we weren't welcome and wanted. We were given two drinks off the bill the night before in return for leaving a tripadvisor review, we weren't asked the second night as the staff knew they had left us feeling unhappy. On top of that, they staff had no problems letting 3 random guests come and sit on the restaurant floor in front of / underneath us to watch the fire twirling show. Not cool. Apart from that, the stay was excellent and we loved the ready supply of water bottles - something that most hotels are too stingy to supply.

Hotel is absolutely beautiful and service great. We attempted to check In around 1pm but was told it was too early which was fair enough and was given a hospitality room at approx 2:30pm for a 3pm checkin. We ended up in our room just before 4pm. Also we were given a different room to what we booked but was not told until I questioned the size and then told it was actually an upgrade even though the inside area is smaller. I’m not sure why we were not told this at check in. Anyway we ended up staying. The accommodation manager Roy was apologetic and offered us a complementary buffet dinner one night which was nice. Room and villa pool was great. The only downside which was no fault of Sofitel was the next door hotel was chain sawing for 3 days. First two days from about 9-3pm with 10 minute breaks in between and on the third day 05/08/19 from 9am-7pm which was a joke. Roy did contact the hotel next door on 04/08/19 it looks like that made no difference as the next day it went on all day and into the early evening. We would most likely stay here again.
