« Great experience for 20 nights in total »

1. Generally fine, good to know Kobe, Oscar, Super and the 2 stuff cleaning my room on 25 th floor and the boy with glasses at guest service counter 2. The rule that I need pay for coffee take-out is not reasonable, normally I would like to sleep in taxi and drink during work but not during breakfast. If I anyhow need 1 cup, why can’t I takeaway this 1 cup for free? and, other hotels allow so, why Sofitel cannot? 3. Some problems in equipment results at least 5 nights I was disturbed by variety kinds of noise 4. No big mirror can check from head to feet 5. Your stuff elevator needs renovation 6. When I ask one night extension after 20nights, I was told 1.5 times price than my booked price 7. Generally good, comfortable, silent, nice

It is good to know your preferences.I could totally understand your coffee time.This is a rule for buffet breakfast in restaurant.But I do believe everything could be more flexible sometimes.I will leave a alert in our system and share your preference with our F&B manager,and I will pay more attention about your next arrival.I will informed engineer to check two of your rooms that you stayed about the noise.I am sorry for the inconvenience.I confirmed with floor manager that there is not dressing mirrors in all new renovation rooms.I will share your feedback with our management team.I think we have to follow your corporate rate unless the room type is unavailable or the full house status.Please let me know your next schedule.I am looking forward to see you soon. « Made to feel extremely welcome by the staff. »

Working away from home can be lonely but the staff at Sofitel Shenyang made me feel so welcome that the place began to feel like home. Susan was exceptional in looking after any issues that raised and Greg the new guy went that extra mile to help. It was sad leaving in the end but I will return again in the future as the Sofitel created so many good memories for me. Thank you soo much.

I found the buffet dinner to be very lacking in attention to the foods that are finished, most of the food is cold and not a very good selection. Seems the hotel has run out of ideas for good food. Room service menu is poor and the food is terrible.

« Room was great but wifi signal was very poor. Power outage on last day dampened the whole experience too. »

Room was great. Staffs were helpful and pleasant. However, IT and M&E infrastructures were poor. Wifi signal was especially weak; we were not able to connect to wifi at all throughout the stay. Back-up generator did not kick-in immediately during the power outage. It took almost 2 hours before power came back. We had to climb up & down 22 storeys to check-out.

Power supply was broken, had to went down from 23rd floor to lobby, had breakfast with my phone light in a dark room. Most embarrassing thing, I invited 2 colleagues from US for this trip, gave them very bad feeling about the hotel and city.

« Hotel stay without suitcase »

My suitcase has been lost by the airline and I am at the hotel with nothing and for several days. The hotel team supported me perfectly in this event. The necessary items for washing, shaving, information on where I can re-equip and support in a language I can't speak to the airline to find my suitcase were provided in a very friendly way. The room is impeccable and quiet, and around the hotel, there are many restaurants to have variety.
