i was satisfied with everything, with one exception. please check the irons in your rooms. when ironing suit for a meeting i had next day the iron was clogged and shot out a bunch of white residue. this led to me having to last minute do some hand washing of my clothes, since there was no time to send to laundry.

Service level is excellent, however the resort is to spread out; we had ti take a 5 min bus ride to go to breakfast. Rooms are sound proof but hallway is not. Noises from outside the room seem to echo and multiply, especially with a group Chinese leaving early morning

While the staff are very thoughtful and attentive, the rooms very comfortable, and the pool very beautiful, I was very surprised at the issues I found in the womens' change rooms by the pool and gym. The floors and doors are in poor condition, floors stained and cracked, the entire area smelled of excrement, the shower drains were partially blocked so dirty water was building up, there is nowhere in the showers to hang a towel or place the soap other than on the floor. On top of that, no staff in the area and no way to report the problem or order a drink from the bar. The staff had clearly been through and tried to clean as the toiletries were carefully set up, but it is badly maintained. As a user, no place but a dirty floor to our soap, towel and clothing in the shower alcove was a very unwelcome surprise. There is no luxury without cleanliness and good maintenance and this part of your hotel is in poor condition and an unpleasant place to be. With regards and regrets not to provide more positive feedback but better to receive it by email than through tripadvisor. Shon

Pleasant experience with gentle kind staff. Good coffee in the breakfast room. The gym was obsolete with a lack of equipment and a poor environment. The safety failed. No one was on duty - the phone didn’t work. Equipment needed repair.

« Not really a 5-star hotel »

The experience I've had was not a 5-star experience, it was more like 3 stars. I found used cotton buds instead of new ones. I had no new shampoo or shower gel on the second night while I had used them half. The bottle of water for coffee was already opened and not fully filled - so I guess it was from a previous guest. It was impossible to plug my charger next to my bed, I had to plug it under the TV. No signal for TV, poor internet connection etc...

The service staff were excellent. The room was excellent. Really loved the patio. The breakfast was nice as well, really really loved the option to sit outside 10/10. The check-in check-out was very fast and very efficient. So mostly positives. There were two negatives though: 1. No hot water. I complained a few times and then gave up. The best you could do after the engineers looked at it was a tad colder than lukewarm. It was quite disappointing. After a very long day at work, all I wanted was a nice warm shower to unwind. This was really a huge negative. 2. At 9:30 AM (I think) every day the door bell was rung quite persistently. It was the folks who wanted to check if I wanted to do any laundry. I told them on both days that I do not want any laundry done and more importantly that I do not want to be disturbed, still they came the next day. At that time in the morning I am rushing to get ready for a day full of meetings and these persistent bell ringing burned a good two minutes out of my time every day. I had to run out of the shower once because they kept ringing the bell. It would be nice just to have a laundry bag that we can place things in and let the reception know that we want pick up or leave the bag outside the door. I really didn't enjoy being disturbed every morning. This was a minor negative.
