I am sure it was not intentional and may it was just a bad luck but a number of things went wrong for me during my stay in Mercure Istanbul Topkapi. I received an email 24 hours before my arrival for which I had booked online at accorhotels website asking me to check in online to save myself the inconvenience of waiting upon my arrival and I did so. Unfortunately when I arrived my room was not only not ready as promised but I was put in a smoking room rather the non smoking room for which I has requested in the additional request column. When I told the reception guy he said we did not notice your message!!

Regular customer of Accord Hotels, We have never experienced such poor Internet service, you have to keep logging up to 10 times in a day. Sometimes we were forced to come down to the front desk to get an steady connection, please if you need to be in touch with your family or your Country avoid this Hotel.

just not happy because of the money i did pay for the airport transfer compare to the taxi charges . i recommend the hotel not to be involve on this type of charges and the person to blame is Ahmet . the second problem is the air condition and the internet is not good at all for a 5 star hotel. im coming fro England and the weather is cooler than the hot weather in Istanbul. some cold air condition in the room will be appreciated. but the staff is very welcoming and the cleaner is amazing she done a great job. please the leadership need to stop those airport transfer because he only take 50 lyra to be at the airport. i really upset about this even after the gulgun tried her best to discount it for me

When we arrived at the Hotel the person at the reception told us that our booking was cancelled. This booking was made through our company travel agency. We had to pay the room charge in advance with our personal credit card. While checking out the receptionist told us that this was a misunderstanding. Hopefully we will get our money back to our private credit card. The room was good, also breakfast was nice.

The bed was comfortable, breakfast diverse. There was a noise in my room (213) and in my colleague's next door which sounded like constant water through pipes. I asked for another room but was told that there was no problem and that I should turn on the air con if I didn't want to hear it. I didn't want the air con on. Pretty useless but I didn't have time to argue. Won't be staying at the same place again The bathroom also smelled of sewage after a few hours

The privilege rooms have all needed, service at reception very good. The garden restaurant is not so inviting and the terrace too loud due to the main road. Breakfast was also high quality and very diverse.

The hotel in general is very good. I stay for 13 night and it was amazing. Reception staff are helpfull. Restaurant staff was friendly. Housekeeping staff was helpfull. I want to thank them all and when i will visit turkey again i would stay in Mercure Istanbul Topkapi hotel for sure. :)
