We stayed in the hotel for a couple of days. The stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. The staff were all professional and room service was very efficient. We look forward to booking again in the same hotel next year.

Everything was ok, breakfast was poorly in gluten and lactose free products, could have more or better options. Cleaning lady woke us up at 8.30 and wanted us out to clean the room! Not nice !

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights at the Mercure condo. Our Room was very comfortable and clean and bathroom was spotless. There was a good selection of cereals, cooked options and fruit and lots of tasty pastries for breakfast each morning. The staff were very helpful giving information and directions to where we wanted to get to. An English channel on the tv's in the rooms would be much appreciated.

« Disappointed my online request for a quiet room was not known and fulfilled by the hotel, until I complained. »

As above. No knowledge of online request made twice, the first time at lewast two weeks before arrival. Otherwise the stay was good after moving all my belongings to another room that was higher up the building and not near an elevator.

The hotel is not quite as central as some, but is in easy access of public transport I did the 'advance check in' with Accor but this appeared to have made no difference as at check in I still had to provide card details and passport (both already added). Room wasn't ready which was fine as I was a little early. You can wait in pleasant area by reception which has free coffee and tea. When my room was available the receptionist handed me my key. I asked about my drinks voucher and she rather rudely said that 'they weren't aware silver Accor members got these' - even though this benefit has been available for many many years! She made me choose a drink from the strange counter attached to reception - I asked if there were glasses and an opener in the room - she said no (which was untrue) and opened my drink ... meaning I had to carry an open bottle of beer, a glass and my luggage up to the room - no offer of help. A disappointing start. The room was on the upper floor - a room with a terrace. The rooms appear to have been recently refurbished but for an exec double they are tiny. There is no proper wardrobe, just some hanging space on top of a unit - fine for one person for a couple of nights but useless for much longer (or if you have anything longer than a shirt to hang) There were two tiny (250ml) complimentary waters left on the bed - not replaced during the stay. The most annoying thing (misselling!) was that this room is supposed to have 'complimentary soft drinks' which I had assumed meant water, coke, juice etc and not two tiny bottles of water worth a few cents. There was a mini bar but this was all marked as chargeable. It's rather dubious to market a room with 'free soft drinks' when you actually just give the customer two small bottles of water. The tiny room had a coffee machine which was handy, usual TV with nothing on interest in English, a large bathroom (rather too large given to smallness of room) with shower etc and good range of toiletries. Bed was fine The one thing that saved this room from being a little disappointing was the terrace - this was massive (bigger than the room) with table and chairs and sun loungers. On the side of the hotel where you get sun most of the day. Quite private as well which is nice. Really great to sit at the end of a day wandering or just to get some more sun. One thing the hotel need to do is to put some kind of dampener on the room doors to stop them slamming. There's a lot of inconsiderate people who just let the door slam behind them rather than closing it with their hands. As the room walls are all rather thin, I was woken up on several occasions by slamming! Not difficult to rectify either so should be done as a matter of urgency Breakfast was fairly standard stuff - all buffet and help yourself. Very little interaction from staff other than to ask for room number. No other restaurant as such or proper bar - but it's Barcelona and there are hundreds nearby I think the hotel has a gym but I didn't use this Check out was again ok - the person who served me was a trainee - she was pleasant but didn't ask if I'd had a nice stay or needed any onward transport

Location is in a nice neighborhood and walking distance to famous Gaudi works: Park Guell and Casa Vincent, Mila and Batlo. For more distant locations taxi is a convenient option. The rooms were big, in particular the bathroom was of impressive size. Check in went smooth and quick, and reception is in general very good. There is the complimentary coffee in the lobby, and also some sweets. Breakfast is at an extra charge, and we did not go for it, as we found it pricey. Styling is quite particular, not to my personal taste, but that is subjective. Toiletries included shower gel and shampoo, but no body milk and shower cap, which was disappointing. Furniture was modernistic, meaning not too practical and showing its age easily. We were a bit annoyed by the maid service, as it varied in quality from day to day. Overall a good hotel for the right price, but there is room for improvement surely.

Compare to Mercure standard in other country, some staffs looks cold & doesn't greet. For a 4 star hotel, I surprise that there is no complimentary water, no tea/coffee bags and slippers provided.

While this is a newly renovated property we were less than impressed by the front of house staff and the layout of the rooms. A clear glass screen between the bathroom and the bedroom sections meant that even sitting on the loo lacked any privacy - this may well be sold as something for couples over a romantic weekend but there is nothing romantic about sitting on the loo! The front of house staff were generally lacking in empathy when guests found themselves robbed of their possessions by petty street thieves and needing to make emergency arrangements. One front of house staff member was deliberately rude, leaving guests waiting for service while she flirted with an arriving male guest. All in all this was not a property to which I would return.

« Have a nice stay! »

When I chose the Mercure Condor, I thought: “ok, I will get ready to be far from the main city attractions”. But really? My husband and I enjoyed our stay, in a nice and calm neighborhood, few blocks from the Diagonal, one block from the train station that ends at Plaza Catalunya. I had my breakfast with gluten free bread, delicious coffee, tea and an assortment of fruits, cheese and of course the famous tortilla. Clean hotel, courteous staff. What we expect from the Mercure brand has been fully delivered and more. Thanks for all the attention

Good expérience but many problems with the payments. I also had to leave at 7 in the morning the last day and, even if I had paid for the breakfast, they were not able to give me anything to take away, neither to reimburse me the breakfast.

I have to say i was very disappointed with the hotel . Its quite shoddy and not very clean and needs maintenance and cleaning. Though the staff at the reception are absolutely fantastic and very helpful and friendly and the breakfast is very good!

Comfortable, clean room, very tasty and fresh breakfast, nice people. Though I really did not appreciate the fact my wishes of handling the room were not respected and the absolute lack of eco friendly policy in this establishment.
