Stay at this motel regularly and often find the rooms are not cleaned properly. The shower and toilet is often not cleaned throughout, the toilet often isn’t cleaned under the lid and along the actual outside bowl. My partner often spend time cleaning the bathroom with disinfectant when we arrive.

Mercure North Melbourne is convenient when visiting family, which I had to do recently as we were assisting my son to move to another flat. Unfortunately, I backed my car into a pole at the southern end of the entry driveway as another car was blocking the entry.

Was OK. At breakfast the toaster machine was not working, the coffee machine is hard to operate and needs to be replaced. The lift was still moving when the doors opened.

The staff at this hotel are always welcoming, I like the idea of having a ‘hydration station’ in the foyer, always welcome after the short walk from the hospital. The only negative for this stay was the road noise which seemed much worse than my last stay. The street sweeper at around 4:30 am did not help! Best grilled tomatoes at breakfast - well cooked, so often at a breakfast buffet they are really hard still. Happy to stay here again.
