Staying at Grand Mercure Vadodara Surya Palace was a superb experience and am extremely satisfied with the services offered. The only thing bothering me is, why is the windows of Room 1204 completely blacked off and cannot open it or see outside. Its like staying in a AC cage. Please revert with opinion. Are all the rooms the same way?

When I checked out, I found an entry for additional room charge which could not be explained by the reception staff and was eventually removed. Had I not noticed it, there would have been excessive billing.

« Front desk experience can be improved »

Checking in was a Breeze but checking out took awhile. It was 9am in the morning and there was only one person attending the front desk. It took awhile until I complained that it was taking too long. Also I informed the front desk that I needed the car to send me to office at 9am but I waited for 20minutes for the car. So much for notice!

Very disappointing compared to the last time I was. The room was not clean. There was no hot water. The sewer in the shower was clogged.There was a problem with the electricity system.And there was no room for another room. In addition the view was of machines and pipes .

Overall experience was good, however not satisfied with your Gym. Instruments are just fulfilling basic needs. Suggested to install few more machines which can provide full body parts exercise.

Bit of disappointment this trip on the Airport transfer (pick-up). Had to wait almost 30-35 minutes post-landing to check for the airport pick-up and that too arrived after calling up several times to the Hotel. Bundling of pick-ups for guests arriving by different flights perhaps needs to be avoided to ensure there is no discomfort. (this time I had a Foreign delegate travelling with me and he was not happy at all with this first-time experience. Hope this is a good suggestion for improvement actions.
