« Amazing customer service at a hotel where everything works the way you’d expect. »

The hotel was new and all furnishings and electronics were in good working order. Front desk staff and manager on duty were always cheerful and willing to help. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and had a decent variety. The only suggestion is to soak the lettuce and salad in water before serving to refresher it. The salad was a little limp each morning.

Room was clean and overall building well maintained. Front desk staff friendly, the pool was a nice thing to use daily. There were let downs with the bar experience particularly with the drinks themselves.

Throught out my stay the reception were very kind and helpful, they are the face of the hotel as when you enter they would be the first to greet you and they definitely made me feel at home, from the time we arrived up to the moment we left and check out.. keep up the great services definitely one of the hotel to revisit to in kuala lumpur see u again

I am impressed by the general attitude of the staff at all levels as they try very hard to accommodate my requests, starting from my extending my stay at the hotel from 3 nights to 5 nights ( I made a phone call to get an extension and was served by Alif), and giving me the best possible rate, through to my checking-in experience (Miss Toh) and until my last day on 30 September 2019 when I requested late check out as my flight back to JB was in the evening and I was not fully recovered from food poisoning, I was granted extended late check out till 4:15pm. I also had a very pleasant encounter with the GM, Ms Yeoh, and Ms Steffany Boak on my second day, and when I told them about the bed being too soft for me, Ms Yeoh quickly arranged for housekeeping to remove the extra padding on top. This made the bed more comfortable for me. Ms Boak sent me a list of places to eat near the hotel. When I wrote to Ms Yeoh to request a late check out, she immediately responded to grant it to me. Even the restaurant allowed me to sit at one of the tables for a meeting I had on 30 September after its closing time at 2:30pm (I did not know that it is closed after lunch). Overall, I am impressed by the level of service I received at Mercure Shaw Parade, KL. Thank you, and keep up the good work!

Service was excellent from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. Your staff could not do enough to help; They responded quickly and efficiently. Everyone we met was always friendly. We would like to particularly say thank you to Sari who was always available for us and ensured that we got answers to any queries. The only aspect which could have been better would have been a rather wider choice of European food at breakfast. Whilst we were happy to eat Malaysian/Chinese/Indian food in the evenings it was not our preference at breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We found Reception staff extremely helpful and understanding and nothing was too much trouble - from check in to check out. They were also informative and knowledgable about the workings of the hotel and its surrounds.

It was a real pleasure to stay at your property. Starting with check-in (helpful and professional staff - I`m really sorry I missed the name of the lady who check us in - Xi - she spent her time to make us feel welcome after such a long flight, explained everything about hotel policy and recommended attractions in the area). Room was clean and cosy. We did really enjoy our half-board option. Especially service provided at the bar by the pool was excellent. We did not experience any problems during our stay and I will recommend your hotel to my family and colleagues if they go to KL.

We booked our stay as a treat during a longer trip as we wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary in some luxury, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We arrived to swans, balloons, chocolates and more and it was such a great start to a few days in KL. Every time we were in the lobby several people would great us, and there was always someone on hand should we have an enquiries. Our rooms spacious and clean. If we are back in KL one day we wouldn't hesitate to stay with Mercure Shaw Parade again.

Pros: 1. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. 2. Great location close to many great local restaurants. 3. Nice and helpful staff. Cons: 1. There was a gasoline-like smell on the 18th floor and sometimes I could even smell it inside my room. Don't know if it's caused by the ongoing renovation project. 2. I was expecting more local food options in the breakfast buffet.

1)Carpark was dimly lit. 2)Stains everywhere on the carpet especially 1 big coffee stain at the side table area. 3)dusty and fill with dust mite. Under the bed was not clean..with rubbish and cobwebs. 4)Too soft bed and pillow.Neck ache and body ache after a night rest. The previous hotel that i stay previous night in malacca prior to coming to mercure has firmer bed and firmer pillow. 5)mouldy side finishing of the bathtub. Very Obvious mould forming on the silicone edges.

Very much enjoyed our stay at Mercure KL Shaw Pde. Nicely located on the edge of the Bukit Bintang retail precinct. Easy access to all services. Good service. Even car parking is good value by KL standards.
