« Not far from City centre but still far away »

Good: 1. nice, helpful and polite staff. 2. Clean hotel and rooms. Could be improved: 1. A better connectivity- at least some pick-up & drop-off to nearest Metro station. We had to wait for bus more than 1 hour to go to the metro and come back to the hotel from metro which is only 20 mins by walk. The local bus is extremely unreliable. This was the most inconvenient part of staying here. 2. The staff was not very knowledgeable on alternate ways to commute to and from FCO airport. When traveling with luggage most of the time taxi would be the only alternate, but when traveling alone and no luggage the combination of metro+train is more cost effective way which I found from outside. Staff please take note and could tell this to guests. 3. Water - please provide more free water, since the tap water is not potable, 1 small water bottle is not good enough. please give good alternate for people to fill bottles from central dispenser or make available large bottle at better price. Water is basic necessity and hotel should not see this as avenue to make money.

I come for short business to Rome, had a very good stay in Novotel Eur Rome, the location was good close to the airport and staff was amazing specially Elenora, she helped me a lot during the stay. also, I can forget the nice amenities send by Elena (GM) welcoming me as Accor member. Well done everyone!

Had to book two rooms as on holiday with friends and had an extra night in Rome due to airport industrial action. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Slightly dissapointed with our meal in the restaurant in the evening - the pasta in my carbonara was not exactly al dente and needed to be warmer. Flavour was very good however. Snacks laid out on the bar were good and the complimentary drinks were great. Air conditioning wasn't working so had to have window open so noisy and ended up with a number of mosquito bites. Otherwise it is a nice hotel 20 mins from the airport!

I have stayed in many Accor hotels in Rome but this one is definitely te best. It is not located in the center but it is lose to the subway which takes you there in 15 minutes. Great , helpful and highly qualified staff. Breakfasts are great and there are free snacks in the bar in the evenings. I was upgraded to an executive room I would recommend the hotel to everybody.

The room was clean, however pillows were cheap foam and sheets not that luxurious - complimentary bottle water for the first night not replenished for the second night - green tea als9 not replenished for the second day. Mini fridge only had sparkling water no still. Finally room at the front was fairly noisy s9 not a grea nights sleep on the first night, second night was a lot better. Breakfast was fine, reception staff welcoming and friendly

The main reason for booking this hotel was that we were traveling by car and did not want to get into the city center. However, it was a very good choice. Great location, about a 20-minute walk from a subway station, great breakfast, free snacks in the evening, very helpful and responsive staff. I was upgraded easily because of my Platinum status. I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Rome.

Good hotel, nice, clean room and bathroom, tasty breakfast. 15 minutes walk to metro and after 20 minutes you are in centre. From airport taxi is recommended. 5 minutes to shopping center. unfortunately small minus - no chance even for coffee and croissant while leaving around 6 AM - despite being assured that everything would be prepared.

It is very convenient, also free of charge, to park the car in the hotel. From hotel, it takes around 20 minutes to drive to various sightseeing in city center. Parking in the streets of Rome is also relatively easy and free of parking tickets. The hotel is quite modern and clean, free of noises. The staffs are nice and helpful. We also like very much the affordable breakfast buffet, same price as city breakfast, but a lot more options.

Even though not in the city center, this Novotel is conveniently located near Rome. With a car, it takes only 20 - 25 minutes to most sightseeing in Rome. Parking in the hotel is free of charge and on the Rome city street, it is also very easy to find parking places during our three days visit. The rooms are clean and staffs are generally helpful. With the same price as city breakfast, you can enjoy very affordable breakfast buffet in this hotel.

Great stay, great hotel service, breakfast was tasty - limited variety of vegetables (only tomatoes), the room seemed to be worn out and should be renovated. Very limited number of shelves to store our clothes.

Hotel was in an okay location was not as close to the Metro station as expected, also was given wrong directions from a member of the hotel staff. Very small selection for breakfast, especially if you are eating vegetarian or halal as well as the food being cold in like 60 seconds... ate a cold breakfast for 3 days in a row. Noisy hotel room we were next to a family with kids could hear everything very thin walls! However the room was nice and spacious Overall was an okay stay would not book this branch of Novotel again.

I have stayed in many hotels and many brands. This is the first time I stay at a Novotel. If this is the quality of hotel at this price, I will never stay again. The rooms are very noisy as you can hear everything in the rooms above and next door, I assume this is due to no carpeting. The pillows are hard although the beds are a good size. The breakfasts are basic. I dont know where this hotel is pitched compared to others but I regularly stay in the Holiday Inn Express and this is MUCH better quality at a third of the price. Then the price of the room does not make sense. I paid €185 for the first night. At the Crowne Plaza in Germany this would be an Executive room not a normal one. I had hoped 5 nights would at least have garnered me a good number of points so that in addition to what I had it could be used towards 1 free night at my hotel stay in June. But this is not the case. I may change my other Accor Hotel booking in June to another brand. I was also supposed to get more points as you had a reward special but that did not happen as far as I could see. The positives are that the room is a good size as well as the bed, the staff were friendly and gave me a room which was a bit more quite after I complained.

The hotel service was okay. Friendly, helpful staff and convenient. 3 comments: We rented 2 rooms of which both bath rooms were not really clean (hairs and dirt) but this was fixed the next day. Garden works (grass mowing) on sunday early morning is a bit annoying AC units (on entire floor) were not cooling
