Great service at short notice. Very clean and comfortable and staff always helpful. Room spacious and well equipped. Warm and excellent beds. Ideal location for our visit and catch up with friends. Until next time thank you.

« Good overall, but require improvement »

Everything was great, except when I was trying to get the slippers and the tooth brush, I was told that the level of the room I booked doesn't have those, and I will have to buy it myself. Since it's so cold outside, I didn't really want to walk outside and buy it, so I asked if I can buy it from the hotel. I was told that it's not possible. I was not happy with the fact that they can even deny the request of one set of tooth brush and slippers when they have it in their hotel. Other than that, everything was good.

I stayed for 3 nights. After the first night I called reception with a request to change my room. Winnie on the reception offered to change it no questions asked. I left my suitcases at the reception. When i returned after work in the evening, not only was my room chaged to better location, the heating was on. It was blissful to enter the warm room after a cold and wet day in Melbourne. Very impressed with the customer service. Thank you Winnie!

Bed was like a rock, had to request extra pillows to lay on top of the mattress to sleep on. Breakfast was cold Room service was great, prompt, and high quality food.

Almost excellent , except for two separate couples returning at 2am and 4.05am having NO consideration for whom they awoke with their loud conversation. Our room 1228 almost furthest from the elevator , so I presume disturbed all rooms they passed. Hotel can not stop this ; so otherwise excellent.

The guy on the desk was inviting and lovely. As we made our way to our room on the 10th floor we noticed how dusty and dirty the area was. Our room was clean in the right places but also dusty and dirty.

My wife and I have stayed at Mercure Therry St on two occasions. We selected the site because of its proximity to Melbourne CBD and the QV Markets. We experienced two problems during our stays; both were rectified promptly. The first by staff and the second by the responsible contractor. The fridge in our unit was frosted up & one laundry washing machine was full of smelly/dirty water. Dryers were ineffective - too cold! Our stays were of an extended nature - for 7 days or more. WE did find that the unit we occupied had insufficient storage for our clothes & suitcases. The suitcases containing our clothing for our stay had to be placed on chairs etc; not in adequate storage/wardrobes/cupboards. Colloquially, there was no room to swing a cat in the unit. Re-unions with old work colleagues/holidays were the reason for our stay. Our next planned visit is focussed on 22nd July 2020 when My colleagues and I celebrate 50 years since we qualified as Air Traffic Controllers. My wife and I will stay in Melbourne during several days leading up to the 22nd and for several days after. We will consider Mercure Therry St; but, as this will occur during mid-winter, we will require significant storage for clothing/equipment for our visit. I hope that Mercure Therry St has bigger & better accommodation available.

The experience it self was fine, we only stayed for one night however the mattress was so uncomfortable. The pillows were so thin and the mattress was so warn I felt my feet were higher then my head. For this reason I wouldn’t stay again.

I rang to book a room while I was having a procedure at Royal Melbourne. The man at the desk was super helpful. When at the room we tried to order room service and was told that hot chips and or wedges was n/a. Having said this the breakfast was good and the room well kept. The shower head needed replacing as it shot water everywhere. Room 1127
