There needs to be 24/7 room service for food and beverage. Coffee provided in rooms must be improved (at least Moccona) and more milk in fridge.

The room was all we needed for our one night stay. Was relaxing and quiet which allowed for the stay we needed. Being able to park and check in early was also a great bonus with the ability to leave the car the next day for a short time. very accommodating

Sebel is a good hotel in one of my favourite locations in Melbourne: on the edge of the CBD, but easy access with trams going everywhere to get to meetings for business, and - with the family, access to the city, the shops and the DFOs!

« Didn’t sleep very well »

The service at reception was excellent, however when I entered my room, the curtains were very messy as if someone were behind them. The room was dark and I was quite nervous for a few minutes to check behind the curtains! The towels were also not neat, I thought perhaps I had entered someone else’s room. The room did feel clean, just not homely. And I didn’t sleep very well as there were quite a few odd noises.

The room was large, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely water view. Staff were pleasant. My parents enjoyed staying here, and also liked that it was only a short walk to District Docklands, and a short drive to the CBD.

The precinct is fantastic and the room was awesome. Reception staff on checking in and out were very good, however it was overlooked to advise me of the location of the adjoining cafe, and as such I did not eat whilst staying but walked uptown.

The room itself was fine. The lack of room service past 245pm (or food delivery service as I have experienced at many other hotels without room service facilities) was inconvenient. Staff when asked about options werenot at all helpful - I got the comment 'there's some restaurants in the area. ours shuts at 3pm', and when I asked what the options were and whether they did takeaway the response was 'I don't know'.

When we have stayed at Accor hotels in the past, we have received other privileges like a complimentary drink and late checkout. These were not offered this visit. Despite this, we still had a wonderful stay and would stay again in the future.

Restaurant - house wine disappointing (couldn't drink). Fritters were soaked in oil and couldn't be eaten. Shower in 2nd bedroom the water pressure very light. No shower caps / toothbrush / amenities.
