Lovely reception staff, nothing was a problem. Room was great, spacious the only thing I would have preferred was a bigger rubbish bin under the sink. Would stay there again, great location and love having the cafe on premises. Best coffee!

I did not like the hotel setup. Our GPS directions could not find it easily and it took us more than 30 minutes to find the hotel after we figured out where it was based on all the one way streets. The halls were very dark and hard to see. The pool and workout rooms were hard to find access to. We had friends staying on the 2nd floor and I could not get access from the elevator to go to their room. The washing machine in our room did not work and the drain in the bathroom sink did not drain. The room was clean and the bed was ok, but it was not a great hotel experience and I don't think I would stay there again or recommend it.

« Good location, building dark, not functional with great staff, however overall experince underwhelming. »

Check in and staff fantastic, lighting around building poor, room strange size, marks on carpet, stains on furniture, furniture not very functional, not cleaned very well, room not made up unless requested, room very cold due to all glass along one wall, curtains too small for windows allowing large gaps, air-conditioning hard to operate between wall panel and hand held control.

The Sebel Docklands was in a great location close to the free tram network to allow easy access to CBD. Waterfront location and great little cafe for breakfast. A few places around for dinner but easy tram access to explore more dining options or eat in your apartment.

The location is great. I believe there should be a pool for each building. The room was clean but quite lived in. Stains on the carpet and walls badly marked. However, the staff are always extremely helpful and lovely

« Good service but accommodation was disappointing. »

Customer service was generally good. Reception staff especially on the day we checked out were friendly and professional. Sadly the room that we were 'upgraded' to was awkward and not comfortable. Windows were open and one unable to be closed without assistance from maintenance when we arrived on a very cold day. So the apartment was very cold. Just not a good beginning.

This just ruined our weekend. I understand the circumstances have been documented and the main cause was parking in the incorrect space, but towing away the car and a $660 release fee was something I have never experienced.

As we do share the car park with a residential complex the arrangement of the towing is determined by the collective body corporate. The price for release of the car is then set by the towing company itself. I can assure you that the hotel is against this and we have fought hard to have the towing policy changed or completely abolished. I understand the impact that this situation has and by no means do we at The Sebel want this in place for our guests but unfortunately it is the current situation that we are in. Very clean, refurbished and stylish apartment like room. At the Docklands waterfront overlooking Marvel stadium. Capri is a nice Cafe with good food/coffee which is a plus. Unless you want to stay in CBD, this can be a good choice. Tram running at the back on Docklands Drive.

« Great weekend away »

We had a great weekend with friendly staff making our stay from check in onwards very pleasant. Facilities are great, location is convenient with trams nearby, although the docklands area itself is pretty deserted. The onsite cafe did a great breakfast and is a very handy addition.
