Nothing special, breakfast just OK, fish didn't seem to be fresh. Strange that there is a lamp stand in the room with no plug to connect it... No table lamp for work (was installed after asking at the reception). Will look for another hotel to try in Voronezh to compare.

Temperature control units do no work in the hotel rooms during my stay. Breakfast quality experience was moderate to low. Hotel personnel was very helpful. Parking is available. Good for overnight stay.

« Cooling system failure »

I complained about the temperature in the room few times per night. The person on reception told me that I should wait or open the window if I want lower temperature. After second complaint the engineer came to my room and say the same. No one helped me with this problem. Why I should open the window and hear the noise from outside in one of the the most expensive hotels in Voronezh city? I just wanted to have 20 degrees in my room not 25 - 26. My stay was dissatisfied

« Good hotel with some issues »

We checked in on weekend with 2 small children. Initially we were located on 3rd floor and it was loud music from restaurant till 3 AM at night and no one could help us, there were only promising from reception that soon music would be turned off. It's unacceptable for Mercure brand for my opinion. So my advice for guests - avoid to stay in rooms at 3rd floor on weekend. So next day new room on 6th floor was granted instead of previous one and the rest weekend was OK and good. Staff is good, breakfast is excellent, furniture is great.

« Excelent stay in Mercure Voronezh Center »

The stay was excellent. The staff is very professional, the room was very clean and the breakfast options were very vast. Besides, in one of the nights, I had dinner at one of the hotel's restaurants and that was also a very good experience. The food was quite tasty and the staff also professional. I just so happens that I ended up celebrating my birthday while in Voronezh and the Front Desk Staff offered me a cake. Very pleasant and kind surprise!

Accommodation was good, clean and functional. Certain items could be improved, such as a few more sockets or usb charging ports and the design of the bathroom would be more comfortable if there was extra room around the toilet and the shower door could be opened to step out onto the bathmat rather than pushing it away.

Overall, I'm happy with my stay. The reception team was attentive and polite at all times, the room was comfortable. The price was reasonable, and we'd book the stay again. There were two minor problems with the stay. One is that the aircon wasn't working (room 813), and when I pointed it out to the reception, they promptly sent a technician who checked the system and confirmed that it should be operational. Except it wasn't: it wasn't cooling the room down regardless of the settings (I tried to leave it at 5 degrees overnight to wake up at 22 degrees). It wasn't a big deal because we just left the window slightly open. I wish it was working, though. The other minor issue is that the breakfast wasn't as great as it could be, so we had breakfast in a nearby cafe on most days. Maybe because of the extremely low volume of travellers over the NY period, the food wasn't always as fresh as it could be. For example, the pancakes seemed to be reheated from the previous day. Again, it's not a big deal and certainly not a deal-breaker. Thanks again for welcoming us to Mercure, we have enjoyed our stay and will book again next time we return to Voronezh :)

I enjoy the location and Torro next door and shopping stores close by. I have no problems staying there but all weekend the bar was out of beer.
